I've released 0.5! It's a total reworking of the mod. Nothing of the prior versions exists in this new release. So, all the bug reports have been deleted, as this reworking fixed all the bugs. I'm a vastly better modder than I was when I worked on this mod originally in 2023. There's no gameplay changes in this new version. No extra torch drops. All enemies should appear just fine. Thank you for the patience while I worked on other projects.

Bro does it work with Seeker of Fire 2.0?

Does it need to unpack and patch the game using UXM? coz your 6 GB version of 4K Texture Overhaul didn't work with UXM, I don't know why

    Dear fromsoftserve,

Does this require your other mod ds2 texture ai upscale to 4k?   Or does this mod consolidate and/or replace the need of it?

I am asking because it seems the file sizes are significantly different sized.

I do see that this version does not require ds2 lighting engine.   When I did it fall 2023 I had to do this mod, ds2 Le, and the super large texture torrent.

This newest version replaces all of those extra mods and still has the same texture quality?  I am a bit confused.

    Edit.   Nvm
I watched your video amd all of those questions were answered.   Thanks

I think he means this video.
He starts talking about it at 5:40, but I suggest you watch the whole thing, it's pretty interesting.

    Hello,

    Thanks for these incredible mods!

I have tried and installed ds2lightmod, all textures (torrent/ 39gb) and visual overhaul (7gb)

    The game looks spectacular.

The only thing I'm looking for but I can't find or install it is to add the torches to the walls.

Here I leave the video where they are added but in my game with everything installed they do not appear.

    (min 12:09)

It looks great with the new torches.

    Thanks and kind regards.

July 28 install.  I am prettysure no changes are made with this download.  Still getting all of the cave baked lighting....  There was no" second sin" pun in the load screen, etc.    DId something go wrong with this version?   I unpacked and patched with UXM on a fresh instal of ds 2 sotfs  :(

How exactly do we make Ds2LightingEngine work with Reshade since they both replace the dcgi.dll file ? Also do we need to install the overhaul texture mod ? I am a little confused regarding the steps to have matching visuals to your screenshots @fromsoftserve

What's the difference between this mod and this mod from 2023: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls2/mods/1160
    ?

I'm asking because the other one is like 3x the file size. Do I need both or is this a replacement?

Hi-ya! Fantastic work, very performance friendly and remains extremely faithful to the original colors and design of Scholar. I have uploaded a short demonstration video showcasing many direct areas from the game if you are interested in adding it to your Nexus page, or if anyone reading this happens to stumble along and are curious before downloading. Thanks FromSoftServe for your work!
