Seems the Chasm of the Old portals for the Pilgrims of Dark covenant aren't working. I've tried to enter all 3 portals, and it stays on the loading screen for a long time, then brings me back to the last bonfire I rested at. Taking this mod off allows me to enter the portals, so it seems there's some issue with this mod.
Really cool mod, unfortunately it's not working for me. Dropped all the files in main game directory, but it's a no go. Any ideas as to why this might be? I've done a fresh install of the game without any other mods and it's still not working.
EDIT: I finally figured out why it wasn't working for me. I needed to turn on the in-game antialiasing for some reason. I had it turned off because of the LightingEngine mod, and I'm still not sure how I'm going to work around that yet, but either way that's the reason. So hopefully this helps someone if they come up against the same issue.
Really good mod, thank you for making something like this, its nice to be able to replay one of my favorite games with a fresh twist like this, at first i found some issues, like the character getting blurred or the screen getting de-mirrored, but after i changed some settings (mostly for perfomance) it just started working correctly (altought i dont know what caused it), the only issue i have is with the mirrored attack buttons and resins, but other than that, great mod!
I think you need to take a bit more time to work on these mods my dude Its a cool premise, but unfortunately just doesn't work well enough to justify a release yet. The Dark Souls 3 version simply doesn't function properly at all This version does seem to mirror the game correctly, but the controls are mostly busted once again. With a controller, I can only look right endlessly, if I hold the right analog stick left to look left, it moves left for a fraction of a second before inverting and spinning the wrong way again, whatever system is in place to correct for the mirrored screen isn't working correctly. The same goes for movement, its just barely useable, but doing anything more than a 90 degree turn results in SUPER janky movement, twitching, and uncontrollable spinning for a short time, which makes the game unplayable against a lot of mobs, let alone difficult bosses
Thanks for the feedback, I made some adjustments to all the mods which should improve compatibility with different setups. It's not really a problem with rushing things, I am test everything on all the systems and controllers I have available. The behavior you describe doesn't seem like something the mod would cause though. The modified controls are like 2 lines of code that swap the x axis on both sticks, it's not clear how that could cause erratic camera movements like that. Regardless, let me know if the adjustments fix any of the issues you experienced.
Ok, I finally found the time to diagnose this issue with a number of controllers and setups and managed to track down the incompatibility issue that caused the bugged controls for some users. Should be fixed for all the mirror mods now.
Thanks, great mod, the DINPUT8.dll file has errors, but it can do without it, you just need to invert the control on the gamepad sticks along the X axes
