I realized that whenever I add this mod the effect of buffing a weapon from spells or miracles is completely missing but the ones from consumables work just fine, it fixes when I remove the mod, is there a way to fix the missing effects
I have a question: I noticed, while checking the param file with Yapped, that Agility 120 only starts from level 9 in the MenuStatsParam. Why wouldn't you make it start from level 1? Is there some kind of limitation? P.S. I also don't really understand why you'd need both ADP and ATN... Is there a reason? (:
but they are. my agi stat says 120 so is the mod supposed to be working? Like my rolls are just as bad as vanilla without adp and extra atn. Also with 120 agi I should be able to take a drink of estus at a fair amount of speed. Even with 120 agi I feel pretty slow, is that a bug? I’m pretty sure I installed it correctly since I completely replaced my encregulation in the game folder.
The mod doesn't mess with the estus drinking speed. And if you're at 120 agility then that means the mod should be working. Maybe you've installed another mod?
I just redownloaded and reinstalled the mod again. Not sure why it's not working for you tbh. Maybe you're using Modengine or something. If you are you need to place the file in Game/mod/. Otherwise, check the seeker of fire mod. They have better rolling through a modified animations file.
Not using modengine. It was a hard copy and paste over the original file. At this point, I just removed the mod and restored my game since it never worked.
Well, I did try out the mod and I can confirm that the early 120 agi doesn't actually function, or at least the iframe part of the mod. The agi only displays 120 at 40 adp but using some private debugging tools atm, I can verify that you are only getting 0.41 seconds of invincibility, while real 120 agi should give you around 0.517 seconds of invincibility. That is achieved by having both ADP and ATN stats at 99 each.
I believe what you've done is change the menu display rather than having stats work. To change actual rolling iframes is a little complicated as it requires editing tae files for ds2. I don't actually have any knowledge of editing frames but a friend of mine who worked on Seeker of Fire's later updates was able to achieve this by making roughly 13 frames available from the start by editing the tae animations.
I am sad to inform you that this mod doesn't change anything asides from the menu display. I'm sorry.
Well, the menu itself doesn't represent the actual stats. Have your ADP at level 31 and you'll kkow what I mean. I tested this mod by giving myself a AGL of 120 at ADP level 1 and it worked!
Whether you like to believe me is up to you, but the debugging program made by Radai can record iframes on screen. With that said ADP at level 31 does not have 0.517 seconds of invincibility like it should, instead is much lower.
I've tested the mod, and what you're saying is true. I will be updating the mod accordingly. In order for the mod to work correctly, DP and ATN should both both be levelled up together at:
ADP and ATN should both be at level 1 (Agility 100) - 12 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 2 (Agility 101) - 12 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 3 (Agility 103) - 12 iframes
DP and ATN should both be at level 4 (Agility 103) - 12 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 4 (Agility 103) - 12 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 4 (Agility 105) - 13 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 5 (Agility 110) - 13 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 6 (Agility 113) - 14 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 7 (Agility 115) - 15 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 8 (Agility 117) - 15 iframes
ADP and ATN should both be at level 9+ (Agility 120) - 16 iframes
So this is with the latest update, as you can see both 9 ADP and ATN stats for 120 agi right? ADP and ATN at 9 Second image shows the debug tool recording those iframes with given 120 agi from those stats Rolls with 9 ADP and ATN Roughly 0.2834 seconds of invincibility were recorded. It's the same as vanilla.
Now that I think of it, if we have 16/60 frames of invincibility then that's equivalent to 16/60*1 seconds is going to be 0.267 seconds. If you have 0.28 seconds (I'm assuming some rounding errors in your calculations) then the mod is working fine!
I don't know about the 0.5167 seconds of invincibility, as all wiki confirms that there are 16 iframes max. I'm pretty sure the mod is working fine. because I just tested it again, Here: https://youtu.be/TiDx9lfFDXM
This is with PlayerEnhancements installed correct? Or at least a modified version of my mod since you are able to drink while walking. Well, if you do have the mod installed, delete the "timeact" folder which contains all files for modified rolling iframe animations. Also, iframes start as soon as you press roll button, which even at low adp vanilla iframes aren't exactly as terrible as you think.
But after removing the timeact folder there should be a little bit of a difference
modifications with Seeker of Fire and PlayerEnhancements modify player rolling iframes by editing tae files, which controls animations and iframes. What I've been trying to tell you the whole time is that so far the only way (or at least I know of) is that iframes at the moment can only be modified by editing tae files located in the timeact folder rather than enc regulation (parry iframes in enc regulations maybe can be edited with yapped but still limited).

This screenshot right here is with all those 99 points which shows what 120 agi iframes should look like.
