Gauntlet Skip Mod by Boblord

Special thanks to the following for their mods/programs used in the creation of this:

Radai for the cheat table I used as the base for the gauntlet skip table
Katalash for creating modengine used in the second half of the mod
Thefifthmatt for creating esdtool, used to edit the events that spawn the ice

Note that neither the cheat table nor the modengine part should be used online.
I have not tested either of them online and cannot confirm that you will not get banned for using either. Dont take the risk.


Important information:

This mod works in two parts:
A cheat table used to bring up the big gate that spawns ivory and removes the loyce knights,
and a modengine part that makes the ice object on the normal gates appear automatically

The table can be used without the modengine files, but you won't have the ice covering the gates.
This is purely an arena thing, and the gates still count as "sealed" and do not spawn the charred knights.

Installation instructions:

1.) copy the files in the "paste the contents of this folder into your folder with the ds2 exe" folder, and do exactly that.
File path is usually something like this: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin\Game

This enables modengine, and loads the modified event file for the ice. Again, do not use modengine online.

2.) Open the cheat table in Cheat Engine, hook it into DS2, and load your character.
Download CE itself from the Cheat Engine website if you don't have it(https://www.cheatengine.org/). It's a bit of a sketchy looking site, but its fine.
Just make sure to read the installation instructions closely so you dont install adware on your pc.

3.) Under "Bob's Extra Crap", tick the box for "Ivory King Gauntlet Skip(no knights and instant start)"
Make sure that you have exhasusted Alsanna's dialogue and unlocked the path to ivory first, or else enabling this will cause her dialogue to be stuck in a loop until you disable the script.
Cheat engine needs to be running with this enabled every time you want to skip the gauntlet. I cannot guarentee that this doesn't ban either, play it safe.

And that's it. Reload the area if there are still loyce knights, they'll go away on reload.
Just drop into the fight and the big gate will pop up, the ice will cover the three small gates, and once you approach the big gate ivory will spawn.

P.S.- there are some other useful scripts under "Bob's Extra Crap' in the cheat table. Feel free to use them for quality of life, but again, they all carry no guarantees that they don't ban.
Especially the bonfirewarp one, which you should not use online under any circumstances, and most likely very dangerous to do so
