That's unlikely. I got every tree texture used in the Darkroot Garden. My guess is you either installed the mod incorrectly, or you don't know what the normal trees of Dark Souls look like.
trust me man, this is optimal for look and performance. If you want detail of tree leaf when you zoom in the tree, your frame rate will drop very badly
@Rip187 It sounds like you're talking more about the DoF than the actual textures. I keep the DoF at 540p with additional blur at 1, so I don't really notice poor lod. That said, if you play with a fainter DoF these textures could help you more.
Gonna check it out. Painted World looks horrid in my game even with better textures. Draw distance is awful. Of course I'm still not all that keen on using these smaller texture mods yet because of the load lag that all of them have had that I have seen. I used the Better Flora mod and it did indeed look vastly better in many areas, but it was very noticeable in the load lag.

I just tested it, and there's nothing wrong with the download itself.

The issue should be long past, since it was a Nexus server thing. Just letting you know it's not problem.
