Please help me guys! I really want to play this game with dsfix and mouse fix but whenever I download the latest versions of both of them, change the ini file as told by the readme file, the game crashes on load game or the mouse fix doesn't work properly. I can still see my cursor, looking around is choppy and none of the key bidding works! I've watched all the tutorial how to install them properly but it doesn't work.

No more need for this mod. Now we have a way better version, the DSR.

You mean the insult that's named Dark Souls Remastered? No thanks, I will keep my 20€. All it really remastered was the pricetag.

the life indicator is not displayed correctly. What can I do about it? I always see only the beginning and the end of it in the middle you can not see anything.

So i have a weird bug. The Hollows' eyes are constantly blinking. It's a little distracting, but not a huge thing.

I tried removing all my texture mods and the problem's still there.

Then i tried removing DSFIX entirely, and the problem went away. So it's obviously something to do with DSFIX.

    Here is my ini:

I noticed this awhile back as well and discovered that it has something to do with the framerate. If you bring the framerate back to 30, the eyes will normalize.

I get that it's kinda late, but DSFix ran perfectly well for me on Prepare to Die edition, had no really noticeable problems except one.

The only place where I ran into technical trouble was in the Demon Ruins. When looking towards one specific wall of fog (the one that leads to the lava asylum demon), the game tanks to 17fps. Once it's gone, however, the problem is fixed. No other area of the game gave me any performance issues while running the mod. Not sure if it's the cause but I thought I should give a heads-up.

Is there any way to run DSFix and use the xbox controller at same time?

How could I purchase this game at this point? I just want the original version that the mods would work on.

Which mods are you interested  in? A lot of them are being ported to the remastered, and more are probably coming. For now there are mostly texture-swapping ones, but also some gameplay related mods like Prepare to Die Again.

If you absolutely must get PTDE, I hear you can still buy a code in sites like G2A and such, and those will activate on Steam just fine.

Edit: They of course already caught wind of the finite condition of these codes, though, and from what I've seen prices are getting rather steep.
