90% of this mod should in theory work just fine with Remastered, but I haven't tested it at all due to having less than zero love for that version of the game that is somehow more broken than PtDE.
If you're interested to try it out yourself, the only thing you'd have a possible issue with is the gecko. I don't see why they'd have changed out what I did to make it work in PtDE, but again, I haven't tried either. Also the two armor swaps may be an issue, but similarly should be doable. Everything else in the mod is just a texture and it's a matter of locating the file and replacing it within DS:R's structure. The file names are likely entirely different for DS:R sooooooooooo GL with that one; but I'm sure there's some cross-reference or something out there. If not, do what I did, go check them all one-by-one until you go insane!
Do you plan to expand this mod further? I'm not sure how many DeS-related mods there are out there but it would be cool to have DS but in the style of DeS.
There's not much I'd ever want to expand upon. The most would be swapping the bonfires for Archstones, but model swapping is a massive pain in the ass in this game. Modding tools are archaic and full of nonsense. It took me many hours just to get the Gecko to work, and animate properly. Even he still has his own issues and due to an issue with just a complete lack of AI function calls for the actual DS Crystal Lizard itself, the Gecko will very often get stuck or just decide to taunt the player to leave much too soon. This is a fundamental problem with DS itself and cannot be fixed without rewriting it's AI code which I will not even pretend to know how to do. As for the archstone; changing out all fire animations/particles and the like for a shiny blue rock with some fog/hue shifts sounds like anti-fun.
If you have a suggestion for something that you'd like to see in the future it's possible I'd update it further with something else- but truthfully I only released this because my friends said I should a few years back. This is almost entirely my "personal" modpack- and I don't see much else to tweak past maybe fine-tuning some inconsistencies but I pretty much did that already with many an hour of texture editing and replacing for the UI/menu icons etc.
Bit of a late reply, but you didn't have it crash because of the modpack. There are zero file integrity changes past the Gecko replacement, and even that is not enough to cause a crash. It may have some conflict with some other thing you have installed. I've had myself and friends play with this for many hours and no one has an issue. It's possible you installed it incorrectly by using the extra files only meant for the remastest mod compatibility, in which case it might cause issues.. but don't do that lol

I would really appreciate it if you could do that.

TL;DR DS modding is a pain in the ass.
