Is it really necessary to use it along with DSDAD? Because it's going to be the third program I have to open before opening the game and it's getting annoying (widescreen fixer, DSCM and now DSDAD). Can't I just overwrite it somewhere on the install directory?
With PtdE you can use UnpackDarkSoulsForModding to get folders & files within the game directory. Then just replace the file /sound/frpg_main.fsb by the desired version of the mod.
To me.. this is the most important mod ever made for Dark Souls. This and the removal of the annoying visual effects for passive buffs. You should post this in remastered as well for the benefit of all.
Thank you so very much for this mod! I just dropped your file into my Dark Souls: Remastered folder replacing the same file and it seems to be working fine.
Awesome, another sound mod for the game I've been wanting to be in the Data files, versus being activated with Cheat Engine. I just found this page. I have not had time to try it out, nor try out DSDAD (as I am sick right now, and my life is hectic, lol). I did get another data file mod here on Nexus recently that mutes UI/menu sounds, and this is just put (and repackaged) in the Data files. Can I get your mod and that one to work at the same time? Does your mod affect just one file, or many (like, individually for each armor piece in the game that makes noise)? So, I request that you release the affected file(s) so they can be repackaged in the Data Files....or, do you know if your mod and the UI/Menu sound mute mod (Shhh...) can work at the same time if yours is activated with DSDAD? Or, could you, maybe, release a version that packages your mod and Shhh together?
Or, I'll just keep wearing light chest armor so I don't have to hear clanking, per usual, lol.
Thank you for reading and your time.
By the way, Shhh (for menu/UI sound mutes) is by thebunnyrules, here: https://www.nexusmods.com/darksouls/mods/1354/?
This mod and other mods affecting the UI sounds can't work at the same time with DSDAD (yet ?). That's why I plan to propose a version which also includes "Dark Souls III menu sound effects". I haven't tried "Shhh" but I guess I could release another version including it.
