I am unfortunately with the other people in this thread.
Downloaded and moved the DLL Loader files into my Darksiders 2 folder in Steam, checked and saw the plugin folder then downloaded and moved these FoV files into the plugin folder and launched the game.
No change in FoV so I closed the game, opened the ini file with Notepad++ and tried changing the FoV twice, once from 80 which was it's starting number to 90 and then when I saw nothing change, from 90 to 120 to see if it needed a larger jump and still nothing.
Restarting Steam and my PC did nothing, would love to get this working as the base FoV is too zoomed in and after recently playing DS1 and it having an in-game option to change FoV it's hard to play 2 without one.
I have the steam version, I downloaded and threw the DLL Loader into the folder with the game, and the custom fov files into the plugins folder, but nothing happens, I tried to change the fov value in fieldofview.ini, but nothing happens, other files when opened are a meaningless set of characters and letters. What exactly should be done to make the mod work?

Not sure if that's the game version, if there's somewhere it shows in-game let me know and I'll look for it.
I only see 1 folder in the mod download, nothing about a public beta, and I'm not on any beta for Steam or DS2.
