   After you add crouchlock.cfg to your [game location]/cfg/mm folder, instead of using a console command to enable in game, just add
   +exec crouchlock.cfg
   to your startup options.  In Steam, right click on your game, select Properties, and enter that text under Launch Options.
   
   Also if using the Unlimited Edition your config files go in mm_root
