Restoration Mod Arena Update
Hello, I've been busy with the new restoration mod ( https://www.moddb.com/mods/dark-messiah-restoration-mod).
The mod restores dark messiah elements content and there are a lot of weapons that would have been perfect for a new arena update, so I asked David if I could update this mod with the restored content.
All the new weapons and items included in the restoration mod will be available to use ( 11 weapons in total).
There are a lot of new things beside the new weapons so a simple change log it's not enough.
These are the major new changes / additions.
Layout
The arena has a different layout now, there are more enemies spawn points so the player may be immediately surrounded.

Coins system
Reworked the coin system to be more simple and intuitive no more chests and coins drop.
Now there are buttons to buy items, the cost is shown above it. The player can simply press a button and if the coins are enough it will appear or the coins are not enough an error sound will play.

Coin Sound Toggle
Added a coin sound toggle to mute the coin spawn sound effect ( some people said it was annoying after a while)

Max NPC Spawn limit
Added buttons to control how many npcs templates are spawn simultaneously. This may help some people that have performance problems. This do not change the total number of npcs spawned, it just slows the spawn rate to have only one alive, if it's been queued by the random system another one will spawn after the previous dies.

Added some new things
Added some new stuff to spend coins on, I'll just show the torches.
Torches will be lit in the arena, this will allow things like setting an arrow on fire while is being loaded into the bow for additional fire damage.

The Crowd

How many of you remember shadow of rome for ps2?
One of the coolest addition in this new version. An interactive crowd.
The crowd will cheer for the player based on his performance and actions. If the player kills many enemies and takes as less damage as possible the crowd may show some appreciation.
Custom Items Price
I used this while testing but I thought a lot of people might enjoy it so I packed it with the release.
There is a .cfg file located in "content/cfg" named "arena.cfg" that allows to set the price for every item in the arena.
It should be intuitive but just change the numbers at the end of each line and items will change price.
The file also contains the npc values for spawning, if you want to remove an npc from the spawning list just set the value like 9999 and it will not spawn.
The smaller the value the higher the chances to be spawn.
There are some other things added and some changes ( changed how the spikes work) but I prefer that you discover those yourself.
Thank you for playing and have fun :)
