About this mod

Ports over The Abomination from DD1 into DD2, changing his kit slightly and adding new skills. For those who didn't play the first game, Abomination has a human mode and a beast mode. In human mode, he is a mind-rank support character. In beast mode, he stresses out his allies in exchange for being a front rank damage dealer.

The Abomination class mod is dependent upon this plugin by HeartySnow: https://www.nexusmods.com/darkestdungeon2/mods/207

Follow me on Twitter for occasional updates on what I'm working now now, and support me on Ko-Fi at https://ko-fi.com/edgard142 to help me keep making mods like this, and I will also give you more in-depth updates on what I'm currently working on.

Follow the directions in the plugin mod. You must ensure that in the config file(Darkest Dungeon II -> Darkest Dungeon II_Data -> Streaming Assets -> editor_prefs.txt), you have UNLOCK_ALL_SKILLS-true and INSTANCES_PER_CLASS-2 or else the mod will not function properly. Unlocking all skills lets you use all the skills and is necessary because I don't have hero shrines set up yet, so otherwise, you would be stuck with the base 5 skills forever. The 2 hero instances per class ensures that the class shows up at the crossroads. *Sometimes* I got them to show up with this set to false, but sometimes it doesn't work, and I didn't change anything at all. I am honestly confused, so just keep it on true for now. Additionally, I'll say that in the past, I've had issues using more than one new class mod at a time. I have not had any issues with it recently, but if you notice that for some reason the cheat options on the left side of the screen when you pause the game are gone and you don't see any hero mods at the crossroads, it may be due to having more than one new class mod at a time.

General notes:
-I have no clue how to make my own model and animate it, so he just uses Man at Arm's model, sounds and animations. I think I know how to make my own sounds and replace them, but I also don't think it would be really worth it if the sounds don't match the animations in the first place. I also have no clue how I would make a new hero upgrade track in the Altar of Hope, so for now, he is unlocked by default, all upgrade track buffs he would have are applied by default, no hero paths, no hero trinkets, and no unique inn item. I don't know if it's possible to give him memories or not, but I would assume you can't. Taking him to a Hero Shrine is useless, because it is not set up. You can't even select him. No hero barks have been completed either, but relationships work fine.

Gameplay notes: Abomination in DD1 could have all skills equipped at once. I kept that feature, but in order to prevent his line of skills from overflowing during combat, skills that are invalid are not shown at all. So don't be confused when, for example, you don't see Manacles because Abom is in rank 1.

I will continue working on this mod and all my others as time allows. You can view a list of known issues and a to-do list as .txt files in the mod to see what I'm working on next for this one specifically. I also have readme files for each folder with tips to help you make your own hero class mod, as well as helpful comments! Please give feedback for everything: suggestions, balance, bugs, etc.
