Pretty straight forward you get the same rewards as if you had completed a hero storyline, I feel it is fairly balanced as you do not get any additional rewards
Simply extract it to DarkestDungeonII\Darkest Dungeon II_Data\StreamingAssets\Excel
Consider backing up your original, if you have any issues with a hero let me know and I will try to fix it
