The mod works. You need to start the game in Steam (provided you are using Steam) and when you click Mods you still have to activate it. To the right of the mod name itself, and to the left of the list that tells you where the mod is located, you need to click there, check it, to activate the mod. Once activated the game will have a blue icon/marker that says Mods activated (or whatever--it's blue) right after the yellow icon/marker that tells you if any DLC are loaded. The place to click is very dark and you have to guess. I'm not assigning fault, but probably the game devs need to brighten the area, or perhaps Steam itself does. Posting for your information since I was stumped for a day.
What a great mod, but I had a question to see if you can help me. Is it possible in any way to condition slots? For example, to unlock the slots you must have completed a mission. I don't know much English so I apologize for the quality of this comment, but excellent work.
The files that influence the things that are unlocked by the number of completed mission and the trinket slots are isolated from one another. I don't see any way that will make them affect each other. Sorry. You're free to give it a try yourself though.
