    HOW TO INSTALL
put this mod into "dd/mods" and activate from main menu on the icon besides the dlc icon, and check this mod to activate.

    Known Issues
    1. On Aug 13 I've received a report of a missing quest icon in the courtyard. I've been unable to follow up with the user and have not found the bug myself. If anyone else runs into it and is gracious enough to help out I'd be super appreciative. Unsure at this stage if it's a bug or compatibility issue.
    2. If you install the mod and find you're not receiving loot in level 2 or 4 quests, most likely this is due to another mod being placed above Level 2 and 4 Quests that also modifies loot. You should be able to fix this by placing Level 2 and 4 Quests above any mod which alters loot.
    3. If you deactivate the mod and start seeing blank quest icons on the quest select screen, try going on a quest and be sure to complete it, or if you retreat, clear at least 3 rooms or 2 battles. Having done this, the Hamlet should respawn the quests and the blank icon issue should disappear.

For people having trouble with the colours or the text not appearing properly, the cause is the 'base.colours.darkest' file in the colours map and the 'miscellaneous.string_table.xml' file in the localization map being overwritten by the mod files, which breaks your colours and text. To fix this, you need to combine the lines from the two mod files with the originals by editing them in. Here's a step-by-step on how to do this:

    - If you already overwrote the originals, use a reinstall or backups to get the original 'base.colours.darkest' and 'miscellaneous.stringle_table.xml' back. Make backups of the originals if you didn't already do so.

    - Extract the two relevant files from the mod file to a separate location.

    - Edit both 'base.colours.darkness' files that came with the mod and the original in your darkest dungeon dir at the same time. You do this by changing the extension to '.txt' and reverting this back the previous extension when done - in this case '.darkness'.

    - Open the files. The original should have a lot of lines and the mod should have two. Look for the paragraph with 'town_quest_difficulty' in the original - there should be four in total. Paste the ENTIRE two lines from the mod into the original in such a way that it that it reads 1,2,3,4,5,6 for difficulties. Save file and change extension back to '.darkness'

    - Open the original 'miscellaneous.stringle_table.xml' and the mod version - you don't need to change the extensions. From the mod version, copy everything below the '<root>' line up until the '</root>' line at the end. Open the original and paste everything either just below the '<root>' line or just above the '</root>' line. Save.

    - The mod should now work properly.

For the mod creator, please consider combining creating a separate colours file for the mod, and a separate string_table for localization, or combining the files with the originals beforehand. This way the mod won't be reliant on being put in the mod directory in the right way.

Great mod overall! just one problem, with the new dlc comes the wine collecting dungeon, you know the one that you do to get some extra blood , for some reason this creates the dungeon but doesn't let me enter it ; the icon is black and cannot click on it :T

Nope, definitely is this mod. I installed it and i have all the letters purple now and other things too. I think that this changes all the white things to purple or something like that. I'll post some screenshots. Before installing this mod, the font and all the colours were normal.
