Thank you so very much for the tutorial and the templates, i recently modded in a couple of consumable items and was getting the FMOD id errror. Managed to fix it using the tutorial and added existing sound files to the new items using the template and GUID reference ids.
Bro do you know how to modify the volume in a hability efect, cause in certain class mod the hability sounds really loud and i want to modify the sound because i like that class

the skill works perfectly save for sound, i gave the leper the riposte effect on one of his skills and added the "riposte1" skill and animations for it, i made the load order and guid override files (leper.heroes.guid_override.json and leper.heroes.load_order.json) and added the highwayman's suond bank and the sound id of the highwayman's rispote but still silence
From what I'm seeing everything is fine. Are you adding the riposte and the sound as a mod or just adding the files in your native folder? Changing/creating a new audio file without the mod loader could prevent the game from loading the specifics audio events.
I mean with the list of mods actives. It could be that you have to load the audio files as a mod in order to make the riposte's sound working. I'm not sure but seems vanilla sound since CoM's update the sounds are loaded differently (for efficiency I think) while mod sounds are loaded like used to.

Too bad his "shitpost" skill got nerfed. Still the best stress healer at this momment.
