Well, I have a solution for you because looking at the file I've seen that there are more changes that they should have been in the first place so yeah that hyper purple there blinds everybody XD
I would recommend you to install Notepad++, its completely free and a million times more versatile than the default text editor on windows.
1.- open the "colours.darkest" with Notepad++
2.- press ctrl + f and input in the search bar "skill_pip_default" press enter
3.- there you'll see three lines that look like this:
Hey Drone456! Thanks for your kind comment. Yes, I considered if there was any point of making a mod out of this, but I reckoned there would be others out there who could benefit from it, so I decided to do it. Doesnt initially seem to be all that much interest in it, since no one has downloaded the file, but who knows.
Regarding the name, I think your suggestion is a funny one, but I think it will cause even more confusion than my version. Hehe. Perhaps if I do a later mod I will try to use an acronym.
Thanks again man. Appreciate you taking the time to comment, even though you wont be using it yourself.
No problem man, and hopefully people will benefit from your mod. It's only been a day so don't lose hope yet
Although I am legitimately surprised no one has downloaded it yet, since I would assume there has to be others that either have trouble seeing the yellow dots, or just want a different color. Would have bet money on it being a hit immediately (hopefully still will be) lol.
Also no worries on not using the name, could see people being potentially confused by it. Your's definitely gets the point across faster/clearer. Just liked the idea of a pip acronym, so wanted to share it just in case.
No problem again on taking the time to comment, I like giving people appreciation, support, ideas when appropriate. It was seriously no trouble, but thanks man.

3.- there you'll see three lines that look like this:
[colour: .id "skill_pip_default".rgba #3d3b38
colour: .id "skill_pip_party".shared_id "neutral"
colour: .id "skill_pip_monsters".shared_id "harmful"]
copy and paste the following lines instead of the ones above without the square brackets "[]":
Blue dots
[colour: .id "skill_pip_default".shared_id "neutral"
colour: .id "skill_pip_party".rgba 40 40 150 255
colour: .id "skill_pip_monsters".shared_id "harmful"]
Green dots
[colour: .id "skill_pip_default".shared_id "neutral"
colour: .id "skill_pip_party".rgba 00 100 00 255
colour: .id "skill_pip_monsters".shared_id "harmful"]
4.- Enjoy your colored dots.
Good work man.
Also for an idea for a name. Since I like puns/acronyms, how about:
Personalized.Inspections.Placement. Colors (P.I.P. Colors
Not entirely sold on my idea for the I spot, but couldn't really come up with anything else lol.
Up to you if you want to use it or not, no hard feelings if you don't
