I installed you mod and a message popped up that the Stich Slow effect was absent. I checked again the effects file and I saw the line there. I do not know what to make of this. Help please!!!
does the XX At the beggining of the title mean that this mod is none functional with latest version? because, when i tried it it worked great, last time.
I ran into a weird bug where the game kept crashing on the "Kill the Hag" quest (while loading) until I deleted this mod. In fairness I'm running several other class mods as well, so there may be some interaction conflict, but the debug log was crashing, at least it appears, due to "stitch slow" which I figured was related to this mod. I deleted the surgeon from my heroes folder and then the quest loaded up just fine (of course then I only had 3 party members instead of 4 as the surgeon was removed). Not sure if it's due to some of the other class mods I'm running (most are yours) conflicting or something weird with this mod and the Hag (I've got an assassin in there with no problems).
Yep, I've been playing with 3 or 4 surgeons for awhile (enjoyed them and your other classes a lot by the way) and didn't have any problems with them til the hag. They were obviously gone from my roster once I removed the mod from my heroes folder, but I'm throwing the mod back in and seeing what happens after I recruit some more of them. I had tried reinstalling the mod (thinking maybe something got corrupted) but that didn't work either, so had to go with removing it (at least for that quest).
That seem odd, and sorry, don't have a solution for you. Sound like a bug, but not sure what would cause that. Maybe the Surgeon and the Hag had some time of relationship before,and he didn't want to face her again... (making up backstories...)
But I will keep that in mind next time I look around.
No worries, I like that back story by the way! So I have no clue if this will fix things or not (as I haven't gotten another surgeon yet) but I did notice in your effects file one of the "slow" is actually "slow " {extra space before " } I fixed it in the effects file and started a new game and the "stitch slow" error didn't pop up in the debug log. If I end up with another surgeon before I kill the Hag I'll let you know if it fixed it or not.
I'm having a bug with this and your Pit Fighter mod: The Custom Lines don't work. The name, ability names, guild/smith/survivalist descriptions, unique dialogue, and weapon/armour names don't work and come up with something similar to <XX_XX_Class_Surgeon> in light blue text. How do I fix this?
Sorry to bother you again, but now I'm having this bizarre bug where half of your mod character's ability effects are just... missing. Disinfections doesn't cure blight/bleed and heal self, Stitches doesn't increase heals recieved or have the disease chance, and so on with your other characters as well. What happened?

For the Effects, is that normal thats the effects.DARKEST file was in the Effect folder and not in the script folder like explained in the readme?
So lots codes need rework, as well as re-balance.

Vanilla classes do a better job overall than this class.
Take a pass on this one, this class is poor overall. The combat debuffs look nice but rarely stick at higher levels.

So in this case, you might need to copy and paste all the effect files back into the .effect again, and run the localization.bat.
See if that help (if not, I will need to go look to see if the latest update changes some stuff)
