HI All this is my very first mode its more of simple file editing hope you enjoy it .
It's simple all heroes can now have up to 6 negative and positive quirks plus 4 locked quirks not 3.
Please note that you may need to edit the files again after new updates .
there is a new 6 quirks 6 lockable for blood moon version .
This mod edits these files:
Character.layout.darkest
Rules.json
you may want to backup your files first .
here is how you can edit the files without the need to download it
1.go to your darkest dungeon installdir [Steam/GoG] open shared folder
2.find Rules.json and edit with notepad
3.now you need to search for this lines
"quirks_max_positive": 5, change it to 6
"quirks_max_negative": 5, change it to 6
"quirks_max_locked_positive": 3, change it to 4
"quirks_max_locked_negative": 3, change to to 4
4.now close it and chose to save
5.in the same shared folder find character folder and open it
6.find character.layout.darkest and edit with notepad
7.find this line .positive_list_offset 100 56 you can find it under character_quirks_layout:
8.now just change the value from 100 56 to 84 44 and that's it done .
