Well, adding this mod completely ruined my game. Not even using the back-up files I have fixed it and I had to reinstal the whole game and all my mods (which is not tedious at all). It announced runtime error and crashed every time I was about to load into dungeon (hamlet worked fine).
EDIT: Nevermind, I am just retard and did no read the instal instructions. As I am used to slapping files in and overriding everything. Still I wonder why did it not work after I put in the backed up non-edited files.
The mod causes the camera to freeze when you get ambushed on corridors. Not all the time but it is pretty frequent mosty with ambushes that aren't scouted. it can happen 2 to 3 times on mid or long level dungeons. the characters will walk past the screen and the camera will fix itself only when you interact with something (door curio or even another ambush.
Hello there. So this is the first time someone is complaining about such a thing. I just checked the original file for a possible game update but there was none. I ran the game and everything is fine on my end. So, this mod doesn't change any layout values or anything else besides some of the times. What I can recommend to you is to verify the integrity of game's files and also make sure this mod is on top of the mod's list. Also, make sure there's no other mod conflicting with Faster Darkest Dungeon.

Hey there. You are probably using an old DD version. The current version is 24149. Those lines you cited that are missing were removed from the file on this latest game version.
The coming_in_hot branch (aka Korean translation branch) seems to break the mod.
Reproducing steps: 1. Install the mod in mods/ as usual 2. Apply coming_in_hot beta opt-in. 3. Run game, change language to Korean, 4. Create a new Bloodmoon campaign (w/ all DLCs and Faster Darkest Dungeon enabled) and run it 5. It crashes right after loading is done.
Hello all. New update and this time I packed it as .zip using the latest winrar v5.60 because some people were reporting that the file was corrupted. Try the new one and let me know, please. Enjoy it.
