Good day. I was just looking for new classes and found this comment here. The Fiend is my favourite and so I did some fiddling (mostly searching the internet since I am a lost cause at modding). All you have to do is: 1 - Taking the class and change his id_index in his info file (the file called the_fiend.info.darkest) to a number not used yet (if I recall correctly 1 up to 15 are are for the standard classes, at least one modder advised not to use these numbers). 2 - Paste some new lines at the end of his info file (the file called the_fiend.info.darkest): generation: .is_generation_enabled true .number_of_positive_quirks_min 1 .number_of_positive_quirks_max 2 .number_of_negative_quirks_min 1.number_of_negative_quirks_max 2 .number_of_class_specific_camping_skills 2 .number_of_shared_camping_skills 0 .number_of_random_combat_skills 7.number_of_cards_in_deck 5 .card_chance 1.0 3 - Run the localization bat and you're done. So far aside from one graphiacal glitch (it always had, at least for me) it works for me. No crashes or other things, but I'll give no warranties. ^^
Edit: Totally forgot, you still have to follow the old Read-Me instructions of copying his effects in the new base.effects.darkest in the effects folder.
I'd like to report a problem though, the skill "Penance" doesn't have any stats (not in my game at least) all skills work except for that one, other than that it's all good.
Okay so. Could you either upload this now to the Steam Workshop? Or clarify how i would know if this actually installed correctly. Because in your readme, the script file wasn't even in the place you specifically mentioned. I think i managed to find the file though in the effects folder, but even though i think i installed everything correctly, i have no idea if this mod is still working or even able to work.

Just download the file and put it in your effects folder in darkest dungeon and the effects should be working. ^^
