   I think mods have a problem with the latest update. i was hoping to use this but my game crashes too. others do also.

      Yes, this mod have some problems, and much harder to install (due to the game's file structure), thus its in a XXX state (in the title)
      
      Hope to fix it up in the future. Monster moding is pretty fun.

   My game keeps crashing now when I go into the Ruins. Any advice on what I could look to fix?

      I haven't played it for while, so not sure any issue with latest update.
      
      A bit messy, but would suggest remove this mod, download the latest copy.
      (be sure to save a restore file of the files you will be replacing), and try install this mod again.
      
      The main file to be consider about is the AI/monster brain one (which would need manual copying) and the dungeon one (so monster shows up), as well as the monster folder.

      My guess is not... since it requires copy over some important monster related files.
      
      Might be Possible if you are up to some manual under-the-hood copy overs.
