Appreciate your work with new version! Anyway Crusader's party healing of lv 5 is now 6~8 isn't it way too high? Is it really intended? Vestal's party healing is only 4~6 at lv 5.
Thanks. Well yes, it's intended but not final, my idea is: Vestal has 2 strong healing abilities and powerfull trinkets with +healing. Crusaders' best healing is this, and having it lower didn't really stimulate me to use him as a front line healer, I still prefered other skills like stun or damage over this. If you think it's a bit too high, I might consider decreasing it. Have you play-tested it in game? How does it feel?
Definitely his healing is great, if I need to prepare for the multi targeting skills it could be a great choice. But it's still way too high and feels me like nonsense
Guess you were right, it's a bit too much. Used it in a few runs with +healing trinket and it obviously needs nerf. Anyway, did some more tweaks in update 1.2, check it out.
Was this mod supposed to remove buffs, debuffs and things like bleed and blight? These have all dissapeared from my game since installing your mod. This also caused a crash when a curio tried to apply blight to one of my heroes
Are you sure you don't have any other mods? This might be caused by messing with effects.darkest file, which my mod doesn't have, I avoided this file to make mod as safe as possible and not to have bugs like you described. Verify game files or reinstall Darkest Dungeon, reapply my mod and you shouldn't have any problems.
Hey notice Redhook gonna nerf antiqurian's get down. It's gonna be added 1 back move. I liked the combination of antique & Highway, but I think I can't use that combination. What do you think of it?
Well, it's definitely not a nerf to me, but buff. Almost useless skill gets more utility. How exactly have you been using it with Highwayman and why it's not gonna be possible anymore? In next update they gonna add little code improvement, it's not possible to add move on self buff, after update it will be.
On a sidenote, I've made some new tweaks and improvements to classes, releasing it now is a waste, gonna wait till new build goes officially live and more time to test if my tweaks won't break nothing, then will update.
If I use Jester as dealer he is too risky. I think his moving attacks need to be buffed. It will give us more tactical decision. Hellion's exhausting skills are too risky as well. The power of the skills are good but debuffes are too high. There are two options 1 is buff power of skill the other is debuff only speed then we could use her skills more fluently with no concern. Speeding up the battle is nice. I feel more interested so far.
If you wanna use Jesters' front position skills, than yeah it's risky through they aren't weak on their own, the only problem is that Jester himself is very squishy. There's a workaround, but it need good timing and practice. You can either switch positions with him by another hero with move skill immidiately after attack OR have Jester under protection of any tanky hero when he is up front. If I make him tougher it's gonna be pretty balance breaking, he isn't supposed to be front line fighter, and his solo skill is very powerfull debuff...
On Hellion, I don't want to remove Exhaust completely, thus I increased damage in skill itself to make it either powerfull finisher or one time weak mob hitter. Devs made exhaust to avoid spamming, and with this fix you still not gonna be spamming it, because if debuffs stack, your damage output and dodge will drop in oblivion. Currently testing it with a few new fixes, if all goes well will update soon.
I like your concept of this mod. DD argues itself as rogue-like, I feel it has low strategic freedom. It forces me to follow the best way of battle or progress. I would be glad if you update your mod so on! I'll try it and comment about it later. Thanks for your effort.
Will do my best keep it updated and bring in new tweaks as necessary, without breaking too much of vanilla DD feel. And yes, my main focus is to give more tactical freedom and variety. Glad you enjoy!
I'm really enjoying your mod. Anyway I think Jester needs to be berf. I'm in the early of the campaign but no Jester had come back home healthy. Most of them didn't make it to the home. What do you think of Jester?
I didn't touch him and in one of latest updates he received some serious improvements, so he can cast his massive buff tune from pos 3 too. Also looks like they buffed his damage. My personal Jester build: Harvest Slice Off Battle Ballad Inspiring Tune And carry him in 3rd position at all times. Back positions don't recieve as much hits as front ones usually, so he lives longer on me, his stress heal is invaluable, and Battle Ballad made him almost OP, that goes without saying that he is one of my fav classes. Try different builds, for now I don't think he really needs some buffs, but if you have any specific suggestion, please share.
I'm concerned about Hellion though, her Exhaust is too much, killing Breakthrough skill usefullness almost to zero, no idea how to approach that without messing with Effects file, which I really wanna avoid for my mod to be more open source and easy to install...
