Take this patch if you play with alot of modded classes, it replaces the riposte from Sidereal Retaliation into a reflect so it doesnt break modded classes.

Introduction

The Astronomer is my first ever mod and a project made from my own desire to have a modded class themed after CoM that fits in the game like an official class.

His usual position will be around middle, he has a basic attack does ALOT of bleed dmg, additionally he is a team fighter granting bleed/blight duration%, riposte and chance to block to allies, pulling, marking, and debuffing mobs(+% dmg taken).


Lapidary

A fast and calculated slash that rends even the hardest surfaces while sending the astronomer backwards.(bonus: will have a hidden bonus flat crit chance against husks)


Astral Shamble

The Astronomer calls upon his enemies a seal from the stars that confuses enemies shuffling them while also leaving them marked and in a state of weakness.


Sidereal Retaliation
O O - -
Invoking unknown forces the Astronomer grants the ability to fight back to self or an ally, with a small chance to gain a block stack.


Shard Dust Infusion
O O - -
Astronomer perfects the Shard Dust formula, gaining the ability to infuse an ally or himself with otherworldly power with lesser stress consequences.


Wrathful Advancement
- O O O | O O O O
Overtaken by a suffocating sense of zeal the Astronomer pushes forward making space combust into crystal, fire, and dust, granting self riposte while also grabbing the target forward.


Spread The Seeds
O O O O | O+O+O+O
Crystals explode from the palm of Astronomer's hand plunging into earth and rapidly corrupting the ground around the enemy that ultimately poisons the enemies.


Sudden Rush
O - - - | O+O - -
The air breaks into a whirlwind in Astronomer's path as he dashes forward. Damage increased against poisoned, bleeding, and size 2 enemies.

The Astronomer has access to the three common camp skill in addition to his own camp skills:


Sleepless Night
Cost: 4
What a day. Prevent nighttime ambush and gain a full party bleed+blight duration buff(4 battles).


Foresight
Cost: 4
Grant us eyes. Foresee the future gaining scout chance and surprise chance against enemies.


Damned And Marked
Cost: 1
Limit: 3 times
Who art thou? One of us, thou art not. Be granted 2 marks of The Sleeper for the cost of your health (stacks up to 6 and is usable in battle).


Stained Knowledge
Cost: 2
You place a great burden on those who would bear it with you. Gain stress and dmg vs marked buff. Mainly used for affliction/virtue build


   From passion and hard work, I present to you:

  • New custom virtue: Perseverant (with some small twists)
  • If virtuous or afflicted, he will get permanent stacking crit/dmg buff otherwise he will not get anything from crits
  • Custom riposte animations for all original heroes(+dlc heroes) except man-at-arms and highwayman(who already have riposte animations) and musketeer
  • Custom lines, descriptions and sounds
  • 1 Town event that will hand out a free astronomer
  • 8 new trinkets(of which 3 are CoM and 2 CC) + 1 unique consumable called mark of sleeper
  • Cannon name is Perci
