A mod for Daggerfall Unity that implements Morrowrind-like fast travel. Adds carriage drivers to city gates blocks, who can be talked to to initiate fast travel. Carriages will only take you to towns and villages (not to dungeons, temples, inns etc)

A work-in-progress mod for Daggerfall Unity that implements Morrowrind-like fast travel.
Implemented features
Adds carriage drivers to city gates blocks
Carriage drivers can be talked to to initiate fast travel
You can no longer fast travel from anywhere
You can only fast travel to towns, but no longer to dungeons, temples or farms
Fast travel now cost 1 gold per day more as payment for the carriage driver (can be increased or removed entirely from the mod's settings)
Basic roads mod integration (the Immersive Travel map can now display the roads from BasicRoads)
Variable size location dots (similar to the Travel Options map)
DFU Android support
To-do list
Regional variants for carriage drivers (for instance desert regions could have camels instead of horses)
Compatibility ImmersiveTravel is compatible with Beatiful Cities of Daggerfall (and all its compatible mods): to make them work together you need to install the Immersive Travel patch from the BCOD nexus page.
The mod is compatible with Travel Options and Hidden Map Locations.
The mod should be compatible with any mod that doesn't change the travel map and/or fast travel mechanics.
FAQ
Doesn't this make the game extremely boring?
Yes. Every time you'll need to enter a dungeon for a quest, you will be forced to travel there manually, and it can possibly take hours to get there. For this reason, I recommend using this mod in combination with others that make travelling manually more compelling (such as World Of Daggerfall, Climate&Calories, Warm Ashes, etc) or that make travelling to quest locations faster (such as Quest Offer Locations, TravelOptions and Roleplay&Realism's horse riding module)
The "travel" button is greyed out when talking to a carriage driver
You need to join the Iliac Bay Travellers' Company before you can use their services. To do so, talk to any carriage driver and click on the "join guild" button
