Added this, while trying out Vampire Diversity and it's completely useless for vampirism. It gives PC same broken vampire clan as diseaseplayer vampire console command. Wondering just how much is broken in these mods at this point since I've so far failed to get infected from spawned vampires.
It is nototiousy difficult to get infected when you want to be (yet somehow when you don't want it you get infected at the drop of a hat, lol), and this mod was an attempt to make that easier, but you're right, you just get infected with the default vampire clan, which doesn't matter so much in the vanila game coz all clans are basically the same except for the spells you get. Vampire Diversity does make the differences between clans more variable, but I will change the description on that mod to make it clear that this one will infect you with the default clan only. This mod is not broken ... it's just limited by the way the game works.
Double checked to make sure I'm not misremembering anything. Current DFU, PC or Android, does not default to any vampire bloodline. Have save at Antiphyllos witch coven(from all this fiddling}. With VD disabled, using console to apply vampirism disease and turning there, results in +20 to all attributes, using witch coven quest from this mod also results in correct vampire bloodline. Went to Daggerfall used console and results didn't get +20 to intelligence. Applying disease via coven quests then traveling to Daggerfall gives cinematic on arrival then 5 or so seconds later turns you into +20 to everything variant. So DFU works as it should and correctly regardless of how disease is applied and so does this mod. Issue is entirely with VD, however you went about linking your modified bloodlines or custom ones is what doesn't work, the only time I know I got disease from attacks I crashed so I didn't even get to see if that worked or not. Not seeing if you got disease or not is what makes this whole process so cursed. I take it you used same script/process that condole command uses so it works the way it does with VD while functioning fine without it.
Forgot to mention, turning into correct vampire bloodline than enabling VD doesnt work, it once again defaults to the same one you get from console command.
Hmm! Interesting. I'll try and look into the code for Vampire Diversity and see if I can spot why it doesn't apply the correct clan bonuses ... hopefully an update will follow.
hey, I am just wondering if I could get a status update on the crypts and cults mod mentioned towards the end of the description, if it's still something you are working on, or something you shelved.
I mean, if you just want the werewolf to have breasts... could just say that... If your character is female, so is their werewolf form, but I don't see many wolves or dogs walkin' around with big ol' honkers, do you? Outside of e621 I mean.
Unless your headcanon is that lycanthropy is in-universe HRT, anyway.
I got the Archer's Axe as a reward for one of the quests but it doesn't have an icon in the inventory and I can't use it for some reason, it also has -1 damage
Roleplay & Realism Items added that item, so I don't think it's a consequence of this mod, you just happened to get it as a quest reward which is probably set to give a random weapon. Which quest was it?
Yes, that one gives a random magical item as a reward, looks like you were unfortunate enough to get a bugged item, it's probably because it's a modded item (added by R&R Items) and not from the original game. Modded items don't have functionality when given through the quest system at the moment, it's something that may be fixed in the next version of DFU, but nothing from this mod caused the issue.
All the Witch Covens have these new quests ... so go to any of them ... the faction ID doesn't matter. I linked to a description of how to find them in my previous comment. Just go to one, and ask for quests from the main witch ... you may have to turn down a few to get the quest you want, Curse of the Werewolf.
Can you make a certain clothes mod and call it something like, Kimonos for women? I see there are only kimonos for men in the game. And I know there are many out here in real life for women. Kimonos are an Asian fancy outfit. Plus can you make a few of them semi-transparent.
I don't think so, but it's a matter of opinion I suppose. Vampirism is fairly balanced by it's disadvantages, though you can argue Lycanthropy is overpowered - I suggest using Lycanthropy Rebalance if you want to make it less so, but that is the case with or without this mod. I just make it a little easier to become a vampire or lycan... though I think that is balanced by how hard it is to find Witch Covens... although, I will be adding an optional file soon that adds a book in game that is a guide to finding Witch Covens, but like I said, that will be optional. All the other changes this mod makes are pretty much balanced imo.
Hi, do I have to do something other than copying to Streaming Assets for this to be active for an existing character? Or is it implemented imediately regardles if you start a new game or load a previous save?
The new quest actions from the Quest Actions Expansion mod made it relatively straight forward to make ... just had to come up with the ideas and then write the quests.

Adding a new were-creature to the game is a bit beyond my skill unfortunately.
