Attention everyone, I made a major mistake big time.
Shoutout to Tiro1000 and ZZxYYxZZ (sorry ZZ for not crediting you before, I missed it!) for figuring out this major issue a lot of people been having
Apparently the files I have been working on aren't from his latest version of Diverse Weapons... Very dumb but here is the version which they are currently working on "15a - MANUAL DOWNLOAD"
I will work on making a version for the latest version (1.6) of realakp's mod. That version is actually significantly improved to the previous one I've been working on. I can't imagine the work he did man. In the previous version all bladed weapons used the same handheld sprite with the exception of the dagger. Same for axe/waraxe, etc etc.
Only some of the handhelds were HD, this has been fixed

For the people saying the handhelds are not using the new textures - this has been fixed, now ALL handheld sprites are HD
Please note that this mod does not replace the swinging animations, only the idle one when not attacking. The reason for this is for when I tried to do it for every image of a specific weapon, there were a huge number of problems with the results. The images became contored and scaled to bizarre proportions and that would require having to manually edit these troublemakers, which would be approx. 4 out of the 12 images per weapon and there are 4010 handheld sprites in the orignial mod, that is approx. 1002 manual edits which I can say with a gurantee that I will not do.
It appears the mod does not work with the weapon widget mod enabled. I only get the pixelated weapons when using that mod. regardless of load order they will not function.
A couple of weapons are showing up with the pixelated, non-HD models. For me it's the Elven Wakizashi and Tanto. Oh, I should specify; it's only the handheld sprite that is pixelated, the HD textures are properly used for their inventory models.
Also, is it normal that sabers have the same handheld sprite as regular longswords?
ya they are since they don't bob like DOOM or Quake, but there is the Ambidexterity mod which does add bobbing along with other cool stuff however it is only github just google Daggerfall Ambidexterity.
Now that is not good and very strange... I haven't done anything with the new files so, see that you do not have any of the older versions of my mod and check if there are any leftover loose files in the Textures folder and the CifRci folder. Maybe one or both of these things are messing up the latest mod structure
I'm having the same problem. To make matters worse, even removing the mod leaves some of the mod's textures in my game, but misplaces them. Flails were showing up as staves in first person, but were properly upscaled DW sprites in the inventory menu.
Were you able to resolve this issue? I'm concerned that I might have to entirely reinstall my game's sprites at this point, if I can't locate exactly what is causing this issue.
First of all, excellent mod. I've been waiting for someone to do something like this for years, and this is top notch. I have run into a problem though, and that's that warhammers, and so far it's only warhammers, are reverting to the diverse weapons (classic) textures; only the handheld textures, as well. The inventory and paper doll textures are HD. I'm using the current versions of both mods, with DW HD loaded after DW classic, as well as the most up to date version of daggerfall unity at time of writing, version 1.1.0
I am running a pretty extensive mod-list including several mods that change textures such as dream, daggerfall expanded textures and its dream patch, the RMB resource pack, and handpainted models, however, DW HD and all four of its files are loaded after all of those. Indeed, they're at the very bottom of my load order.
I tried to do a few things to fix the problem, such as bringing DW classic up and down in my load order, turning various mods off and on, and even downloading the older version of the mod and putting the warhammer textures into the corresponding folder manually. None of it has worked (I removed the textures from the folder after I saw it didn't work).
At the end of the day, it's hardly a gamebreaking bug, but it would be nice to get it fixed. Does anybody know if there are specific mods that are incompatible with DW HD, that might cause an issue like this?
I'm loving these simple mod files in v3.1. The install is so simple now. These weapons look fantastic!
Based on my findings and research across various mediums (including pebcak errors), it appears that loose mod files will often get real messy and confusing all of a sudden... especially when they are texture files from many different mods all jumbled into the same folder... XD Thank you for the update on that. It helps my overly-curious and compulsively-tinkering smoothbrain from doing too much damage.
Thank you for all of your hard work & the time you've spent on this. You're inspiring me to begin learning how to create DFU mods.

Also it seems that the enchanted sprites weren't included for some reason, I must have missed the files. I will work on fixing this
Thanks to blueshark747 and adamat0m for informing me
