This just doesn't work. The game can randomly register a click input just from moving the analog sticks around. It frequently registers a single press of the A button as a double click or a triple click. Additionally, looking around with the analog stick is undersensitive. I simply can't play the game with this thing.

Disregard this comment. I'm not the brightest and would delete it if I could.

Tried this out with 360 controller. Not going to touch on it (posted before).

If there's a clever way to incorporate dual hot button actions to allow for more gameplay actions, that would be great!

bitdefender stated that runner.exe is infected with a Trojan.GenericKD.33051901
edit: most likely a false flag

Hey is there anyway to add a Run key on the pad?

Just downloaded this for the first time. I mange to get it to kind of work, but the controller layout does not match the picture. X, for example, opens character sheet.
And nothing seems to draw/sheath weapon.

maybe you can try to reset to the default keyboad layout... You've probably changed it before...

Ok, I got it to work. But in it's current state I'm afraid it doesn't work well with my playstyle. Some suggestions:

1: The ability to rebind keys. I am guessing you do some tricky stuff here to make it work, so it's not an easy thing. But perhaps it would be possible for the player to remap the keys during installation? I tried simply remapping the ingame keymappings, but noticed it didn't always work as intended.

2: Instead of letting the player remap, have two or more keybinding sets to choose from. For example, I was really missing a "Use Magic Item" key. And what is the "Float" key even for? Also, my personal preference is A to jump, X to activate.

3: There's perhaps too much vibration at the moment? It felt like all kinds of buttons was making it vibrate for no reason.

4: Have R-trigger pressed spam r-clicks. So you don't have to spam it to attack.

Hey, I know you haven't tested this mod with a 360 controller. I'm using a 360 controller and it seems only the sticks, face buttons, and triggers/bumpers seem to work. Attempting to use the D pad, start/select, or the guide button causes the entire controller to cease responding. Unplugging and then re-plugging in the controller causes it to respond again, but only for those particular buttons. Would love to see 360 support, otherwise excellent mod.

Hi, thank you for the update and sorry that, it finally doesn't work with the 360 controller. There's not a lot I can do since I haven't 360 pad to perform some tests, exept update the description

It works great I just wish I could switch to start and B button around, other than that it's perfect

Confirmed it works. for those who get confused during installation, you need to extract everything from inside the tools folder(not the folder itself) and then place the files into where the daggerfallunity.exe is and all should work fine. like an idiot, i couldn't get it to work at first bc i extracted the whole tools folder rather than what was inside it.
