Dynamic Music Important Note!: If you previously used version 0.0.2 or earlier then you will need to move your music files from DynMusic_Combat to DynMusic/Combat. Music pack authors will also need to compensate for compatibility. This is the last time I'll move the folders around. Promise! Description: Daggerfall has a large and varied soundtrack but lacks situational music for when your character is under attack. It also has a way of changing its music abruptly unlike its predecessor and sequels. This mod aims to address these shortcomings.
Includes a custom folder to place your own .ogg files that will play during combat.
Plays two different combat-like tracks from the game's soundtrack by default if no custom .ogg files are found.
Also includes folders for all the game's defined playlists.
Instructions:
Setup: 1. Unzip the StreamingAssets folder over your current StreamingAssets folder. This will put the folders in their right places. 2. If you want to use custom combat music then first ensure they are in .ogg format and place them in StreamingAssets/Sound/DynMusic/Combat. 3. Custom music for other playlists go in their respective folders under StreamingAssets/Sound.
User-defined Playlists: Version 2.1.5 adds a condition parser that allows users to define their own playlists and sets of conditions for them to play. See the readme (either in the Docs tab or in the archive) for usage instructions.
Debugging: Open the console with the "~" key and type "tdbg" enable this mod's debugging strings.
Uploading Your Own Music Packs: If you would like to upload your own music packs to Nexus for use with this mod then that is something that I encourage! Just make sure that you either own the music or have permission to distribute it.
