I am very interested in this mod. However I cannot make it work. It is in my Mods folder. I use [Travel Options]; loading this before or after [Travel Options] has no effect. The map simply doesn't change. I disabled [Travel Options] altogether; still no climate styled map. I do have a very large number of Mods. I have moved this in load order ahead of all other make-over Mods. Still zilch.
Hi, dejunai. I don't know if you solved this yet, but I had the same problem and what worked was placing this mod AFTER the D.R.E.A.M. mod files in the load order. I don't know if you're using D.R.E.A.M., but I decided to post this anyway.
I also play with lots of mods and that did the trick. So far I've tested it for about 4 hours and no crashes, bugs or weird behaviors. The only minor "issue" is lower resolution margins on the map borders, which doesn't really bother me. Maybe I'm missing something and in the current versions both mods are not compatible, but so far so good on my end.
I think the best map, like online maps, would have various 'modes'. Height map, vegetation map, villages and towns, roads, and my favorite, Zoom in. So those of us using max mods with lower resolutions can actually see the roads. As it is you have world, and region, and the 3d nearby map mainly used for dungeons or towns.

Hopefully this will also do the trick for you.
Best regards from Brasil.
Had this problem, but this trick worked, thanks!
