The lightning flashes from this seem to happen at random intervals even long after the thunder and lightning has finished. I can be walking around a town on a completely clear day and still get the flashing effect from the lightning that was happening the other day.
Ver 2.3.3 of this mod on DFU 1.1.1, anyone else getting that?
Hmm, strange I haven't seen this. I'll look into it when I cycle back around to working on Dynamic Skies. In the meantime I'm betting you can use the set_weather console command to turn them off.
I have this too and after some testing I narrowed it down to a conflict with Transparent Windows, it's consistent when entering and exiting a building during a thunderstorm. The set_weather command doesn't fix it but it does prevent it if you change the weather before exiting.
Ah, in that case I recommend filing a bug report over at Transparent Windows. That mod does things entering and exiting buildings that I don't understand.
I have it as well and I dont use transparent windows mod. The flashes even occur in the dungeons, which I found out recently. And during the day, where they look like orange flashes.
They shouldn't interact in any way, but you never know with DFU. What's the odd behavior? If you're just loading into a void, it might be because of a base DFU bug that doesn't allow you to load any saves made inside buildings in modded city blocks. In other words, save outside.
It's either World of Daggerfall, Dynamic Skies or both that is causing long loading times and crashes. Especially with trying to save after a certain amount of time or transitioning to another cell via fast travel I'm playing on Android and it doesn't like it very much. Perhaps it's my phone maybe Beng old even though it has very high end specs
Edit: ohhhh man after all this time. It's definitely World of Daggerfall. My android can't take it :(
Edit 2: no it was one of the problematic mods found on that sheet of crashie mods. I had to reinstall Daggerfall and yeah
I've noticed that when this mod is enabled, I get a set of warnings occurring multiple times throughout the player.log file.

Yeah, those are harmless. The mod has an option for different day and night settings, which some presets use and some don't. But getting the settings files relies on a vanilla DFU method which throws an error if the settings aren't used. I can't fix the messages, but you can disregard them.
Just one issue with the lightning, is it supposed to be orange? Kinda looks a bit funky as opposed to a white flash. Not sure if this is the mod or something else making it like that.
I'd like a way to not have the lightning flashes, it's pretty painful for the eyes when in accelerated time travel with 'travel options', if you could either let me download the 2.3.0 version before it was added, or add a setting to disable it

Haven't tried to resolve anything yet via console commands, next time I get the issue I'll try to fiddle around a bit.
