Does this work with John Doom's 3D Enemies? or will I have to disable parts of it?

I don't find the mix with DREAM 2024 shocking, the two styles blend quite well (or maybe I have bad eyesight) and it adds so much variety to NPCs that I couldn't do without it now that I've tried it.

Just great, it should have been part of the original game, too bad it was rushed.
I guess that's Bethesda's signature, letting players finish their games for them. And it works. pretty well.

May I know exactly what Villain 1, 2, and 3 modifies so I can mix and match it with DREAM 90s since they blend well together and has similar amount of pixelation. Thank you!

For some reason it does not work for me. The sprites are the same low res. I've placed it at the very bottom of the load order, and disabled all DREAM and all other DREAM related mods. Tried a compleatly clean install too.

Are you sure they are low res? They are not High Res as much as DREAM (as you can still see pixels) but they  are still High Res compared to the not HD version of this mod. Maybe its your is a bias. I had it too until 30 min ago.

Actually unless it's only me, the walking sprites have HD but the static don't?

Edit: yes it only affects the walking NPCs only, the animated ones from the vanilla enhanced are still low res. And the DREAM NPCs already makes the sprites that are already animated in vainlla very HD so imo, DREAM is more worth it if you want DREAM res

The fact is DREAM has only 20 walking NPC like vanilla daggerfall, this mod has 1000 of them. Anyway, this mod doesnt require Vanilla Enhanced, are you sure you didnt installed VE too so the NPC are really low res because they load after both DREAM and EHD? (anyway, as i said, VE models are low res, DREAM are high res, this mod actually has like.. mid res models).

Absolutely, there is literally 7.787 files in this mod, which is incredible. But I really want the seamless DREAM-esque sprites overall. These are for sure more HD than the vanilla enhanced mod, but doesn't fit into DREAM. I've already upscaled about 7-800 sprites from the Diverse Weapons mod, I'm not really to keen on doing it on these sprites too lol.

This mod doesn't include NPC flats, only the villagers that walk around and the monsters. That's because DREAM's NPC flats are mostly quite good.

That's true, some of the flats are actually not flats and have some animation, with the exception of the eyes which are still. There still are a lot of flat NPCs that have no animation at all which would be great if they were, but I have all respect to modders so it's understandable either way

Do I need the original Vanilla Enchanced mod or is this one standalone?

This one is standalone, and could also be used as a replacer if loaded after the vanilla mod.

This should go below DREAM so that it overwrites DREAM's assets.

well done! DF become more and more awesome )) just to be clear: are this mod fully integrated with DREAM, or we need to disable corresponding parts of DREAM?

You can disable corresponding parts of DREAM, I believe, except you might want to keep DREAM - Mobs enabled behind HD Enhanced in the load order, as I haven't done ghosts yet. They're hard, even though KoW taught me how! I'll get to them at some point this summer.

The only way I could get ghosts to not have issues (they aren't as transparent and also take on the surrounding lighting, so can turn yellow) was to either
      1) disable "HD Enhanced - Monsters", or
      2) load "DREAM - MOBS" after "HD Enhanced - Monsters"

Number 2, however, appears to cause DREAM monster models to overrwrite HD Enhanced - Monsters, unfortunately. For example, the skeletons revert back to DREAM's.

This mod makes Dream's NPCs lower visual quality than they are without the mod. Have messed with load order and it still occurs. If you have an issue with Dream's sprites not showing their full resolution try disabling this..

Edit:  I take it back; after more testing, it was Vanilla Enhanced Animated People (as recommended by Lively Cities) which was causing Dream'd NPCs to revert to low res (with a flicker effect I assume due to an animation attempt or something). Disabling Animated People fixed the problem. Lively Cities can be left on.

HD Enhanced can be used with Dream but as far as I can from my testing more NPCs will be walking around with noticeably lower res to your Dream NPCs (Dreams description actually says as much on second reading), but the static NPCs will be full on Dream'd.

So my conclusion is you have to pick between Static and walking NPCs being the same quality, or different quality but more variety.

    Hope that helps someone.

This is amazing. The best of both worlds - I can have the cake and eat it! Thanks!
