If you've installed Warm Ashes: Cities or the Perpetual Quest Pack, this is very similar in function. Think of it as the same concept, but with more and different events. No content is duplicated from previous mods; everything here is completely new and compatible with WA, PQP, etc.

This mod depends on the new "weather" quest condition added by KAB in Daggerfall Unity 0.11.4. That means, depending on whether it's foggy, snowy, rainy, or sunny outside, you'll get different events. Right now there aren't many so repetition may be a bit of a bother, but I try to make the events happen infrequently enough that you don't notice.

My purpose is to make a bunch of ordinary, low-level encounters to give players ways to make money or otherwise pass the time (making money doesn't happen a lot with RLQ now, but the events are still interesting). I think the more lively the world is, the better (within reason of course).

These events will happen within cities, hamlets, and villages. There is a 1/3 chance of an event happening every 26 hours.

* As of July 2022, this quest pack has a new feature called Locational Events: one city at a time in your current region may be plagued by enemies (rats, bandits, etc) for one week at a time, on a level-gated system. If you do not want this feature, delete the "Locational" folder inside your RLQ files.

TO INSTALL: Extract the QuestPacks folder to /DaggerfallUnity_Data/StreamingAssets/ so it merges with the existing Quest Packs folder. It will start automatically with a new character. On an existing character, use the console command startquest RLQinit to begin the events. Then just let the game run normally until they happen.

TO UPGRADE: Extract the QuestPacks folder to /DaggerfallUnity_Data/StreamingAssets/ so it merges with the existing Quest Packs folder, overwriting everything that currently exists.

TO UNINSTALL: Delete the JHRLQ folder from within your QuestPacks folder. The game will stop offering them after that point.
