If you are using DREAM and want to use this, first Disable "DREAM - CINEMATICS". Otherwise, both will play and compete with each other, resulting in a juttered mess.
It should work fine after that, but @CodenameAwesome ought to include this in troubleshooting details. They are otherwise fine updates, if but the *minor* detail of lip synching frames that AI generative updates fail to catch on Emperor Uriel VII, which is unavoidable.
when the intro cutscenes play it skips and even rewinds frames in some parts. they play perfectly fine on their own. dfu version 0.14.4, latest version of windows 10.
Tried this out on my mid range pc with a Vanilla Enhanced w/ pixel grass DFU build. Works great. Not too clean and very fluid. No issues, lag or stutter with playback.
D.R.E.A.M. comes with remade cinematics I believe, but I don't know if they are 16:9, 1080p and 30 fps. How do these compare to the D.R.E.A.M. cinematics?
REally great work! I do know it is a lot to ask to essentially do most of the process again, but I feel the framerate interpolation is the biggest culprit here. You use a filter to 240p to give it a crisper look and make it feel like how they were originally inteded without compression, and sure 30 FPS maybe what they were recorded at, but I feel it ruins the feel and it messes up the animation of many scenes. I would much prefer a version that stick to the 15 or 20 FPS of the original
I'm not sure why, but these videos don't play correctly for me, at least the intro video doesn't. It takes a while to load and then remains extremely stuttery (less than 1 frame per second) throughout the video. I don't have that weak of a PC either; I have a GTX 1660 Ti (mobile), i5-9300h, and a 1TB SSD. I'm not running DREAM so I doubt I have any other mods that would affect the intro video.
yeah this is a problem I faced with dream as well. The solution is to have the files encoded in WEBM and than pack it to DFMOD in Unity without any transcoding.
I get the same result as Rennn. I have a killer rig running an Nvidia 2080ti and I can run anything... Just not these video files in game. No other mods installed. The videos play fine on their own however in VLC media player. So I am at a loss as to what the issue may be.
