I like the interior rain sounds, and the reduced Hz frequency of the rain sound there! One thing I would add is to reduce the volume of the rain sound indoors a bit as well.
Here's a weird one. When I use this mod with Darker Dungeons, I get an exception when using the steal function to take a torch off the walls. Here's where is gets weird. It only happens when I adjust Dungeon Darkness in Better Ambience's settings. If I leave Better Ambience at default? No exception. If I use the Reset button to default the settings for Better Ambience after changing dungeon darkness? The exception remains until I do a full uninstall of Better Ambience, run DFU into the mods section to remove old mod files, then reinstall Better Ambience.
I'm still pretty new to DFU modding, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's my load order. Here it is if anyone more knowledgeable than I could maybe point it out:
Exception Report [6B771BF4] Daggerfall Unity beta 0.14.5 Windows An unhandled exception was thrown. [Description] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object [Stack Trace] DarkerDungeons.DarkerDungeons.DeactivateLight (UnityEngine.GameObject lightObj) (at <2c2bef90520c4415ba9176e70bb5b435>:0) DarkerDungeons.DarkerDungeons.ActivateLight (UnityEngine.RaycastHit hit) (at <2c2bef90520c4415ba9176e70bb5b435>:0) DaggerfallWorkshop.Game.PlayerActivate.Update () (at <173b5088bd2041d4b028be1f9578885c>:0)
Edit: I can't seem to replicate the exception when I use 0.13.2. At least with the minimal testing I've done doing the same process as I did with 0.1.5. (changing dungeon darkness, create new character, run to first torch, activate then steal) Super late at the time of this edit. Will update after more testing. Thanks for not archiving the old files by the way!
Are the interior rain sounds optional? I use transparent windows, which also has interior rain sounds. :) (If not, not a big problem; rain volume can also be changed in transparent windows mod)
Seeing how this mod can change the brightness of dungeons, would it be possible/much effort to add a setting for nights outside as well? In general or dunno 20m around the player... (Using a light spell I get basically that, but the candle flying around is a bit irritating) Early in my playthrough this was not issue at all, since everything was covered in snow. Now that the season changed to spring, I can't see s*** at night. Which is kind of what nights are out in the wilderness, but still, with trying to keep fast travel as little as possible, 4pm to 8am are basically unplayable
Oh wait, I didn't look at version numbers. The current version (0.1.5 ?) is conflicting, the previous (0.13.2, then? It looks like 0.1.5 in description changelog) works properly.
I have DREAM, latest version of Unity, and this mod installed but I cant find the Mod settings for the mod to turn off the fog. I have Darker Dungeons and Improved interior lighting and the fog removes the darkness and makes it easy to see without a torch. (NEVERMIND, found the settings lol)
Thanks for combining the mods! QQ, Is there anyway to change the colour of the fog? Those purple light/fogs makes me feel like entering a Holloween attraction rather than a deadly dungeon =]
I would like to second this request. Like annoyingplastic I felt a bit put off by the purple light in a barbarian stronghold, and it was a shame to disable the whole thing. I wouldn't mind having it black, it's just the purple that felt wrong. Perhaps an option to select what colors that can potentially spawn.

Here's the Exception Error if that helps at all.

I see a 0.1.5 though?
