About this mod

The music for Daggerfall was composed on a Roland Sound Canvas SC55 and it could be played in game with the same device if you were lucky enough to have one.
Here is the full render of Daggerfall OST by Eric Heberling, the orignal composer, like it was played on the best midi expander of its time.

---What is it ?---

Here is an picture of it (from www.audiofanzine.com)

I recorded all the tracks one by one on audacity.

48000hz, OGG quality 10.

I left the mix as is, as vanilla friendly as possible.

Some tracks may appear louder than other. It seems to be the way it intented to be.

---Installation---

To install this mod, copy the \Sound folder you will find in the archive into the ..\DaggerfallUnity_Data\StreamingAssets folder of your Daggerfall Unity installation.
That's all :)

---Questions on other midi expanders---

Why didn't I record the Roland MT32 version ?
> The MT32 version can only be rendered ingame. It would be difficult. It would take some kind of in game jukebox to do that.
Why didn't I record on a more modern model like the Roland SC88 ?
> The SC88 is better in many cases but not with Daggerfall where it changes some of the sounds. It is better for Duke Nukem 3D or late midi era japanese games like YS.
