Brilliant and frankly a game changer with mods like Travel Options with which you tend to, sooner or later, fall through the ground into the abyss while doing accelerated travel across the lands. Thanks!
Do you think it would be possible to add a feature to be able to turn the effect on and off during game-play from the in-game mod options? This would work to resolve the situation where those pesky mobs are shooting arrows from deep underground and you need to tcl to go get at them to continue normal game-play in their location.
I already knew you are the monkey for the mods, but a pickup artist also! They ought to have roadside temples in Tamriel for travelers to venerate the Hand of the Monkey God and it's all reaching grab.
As someone who uses the first-person travel from the Travel Options mod, this sounds nice. Read: when you go too fast, ground textures might fail to load in time. :P
It's only active when the player is outside, and looks for the TerrainCollider, which doesn't exist in dungeons.
I was thinking about this the other day. Would it be possible to track the dungeons entrance spawn position and just reset position to that once you pass a certain z level?
Sometimes! It is daggerfall we're talking about :P I had a dungeon just yesterday where a single spot in a hallway wasnt meshed correctly so walking down it would lead to falling through the dungeon floor xD Ive even had this kind of thing happen in other interiors like taverns or houses. Its less of a 'is it always happening' and more of a 'when it happens you really wish there was a way to not have to fast travel or reload a save to fix this'
If you have https://www.nexusmods.com/daggerfallunity/mods/100?tab=bugs installed, report that there, and if you haven't, maybe try if that hallway will be fixed after installing it and if not then report.
Could have endorsed earlier (out of trust), but I really wanted to make sure I could witness this first-hand AND "try to break it" (out of principle). Haven't broken it yet and have seen it work several times now. Well worth the endorsement!
I really hope simple 3d trees becomes compatible because the reason I use that mod is not for aesthetics but necessity - the billboard trees give me a sense of vertigo.

What if you go down deep in a dungeon ? I know nothing about programming in Unity or in this game.
