This mod is f*#@ing amazing, thank you for this. It was driving me crazy that during scanning mode, sometimes it would just suddenly slow down. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it has something to do with the fact that suddenly a hackable enemy/cop came into my view?
You know what else would be amazing? Disable the near total silence in volume whenever your scanner targets something. It's so weird that all the volume goes quiet when scanner centers on something hackable.
Any chance of getting a mod that enables dodging/dashing while scanning? I wanna bhop around like as mad lad while hacking s#*! lol
Also, I'm unsure if this is caused by a mod or vanilla behaviour, but i've noticed when I place my reticle over an enemy the time dilation in scanner mode ramps up to 100 and make everything basically frozen in time. Looking away from enemies generally restores normal scanner movement speed and time dilation but is a bit inconsistent. Is this normal vanilla behaviour or do I need to troubleshoot my 200 mods?
I have too many mods to find the one at fault, nevertheless be warned there exists a conflict that produce slow-mo mode like Sandevistan/Kereznikov get u but without any cybernetics installed.
This glitch happens completely randomly when fighting starts. Ends when enemies or you r dead. I tried to reproduce this glitch a few times. Managed to repeat it twice throughout 6hrs of gameplay, so it's THAT rare. But it happens if u have 200-300 mods installed like I do (most of them are either sound, gameplay or NPC-restyle mods).
The key point is that it only happens when you are being attacked while driving with any kind of scanner dilation mod installed (this one too has the same conflict in my particular case, but prolly u won't have this effect with your mod collection).
In 2.02, running or jogging with scanner out still works but not in 2.1. Honestly though I don't remember if it was this mod that enabled scanner+running or another mod but I still have my 2.02 game files and I don't see any other time dilation based mods.
Will not. Can not...play without this mod ever again. This and Immersive Cybercity(Because you can hack random NPCs, forcing you to discern your targets) make netrunning SO much more challenging, and fun.
Hi Technic235 / all, how do you turn off time dilation during combat? It says it's optional but there's only 1 file for download and no mod config in game.
Edit: Derp! Didn't realize .reds files can be edited with notepad. Disregard and thanks!

EDIT: Nope, it works without. Mod Settings stands alone
