Anyone know if there is a way to get the Kiroshi translation effect for V? That way I can understand what hes saying without enabling cinematic subtitles.
Hey man, thank you for making this amazing mod. One thing I noticed though is that while the lipsync works in the intro, it doesn't work in endings that involve a 3rd person pov. The lips just don't move. I've only tried it with The Star and Suicide so I don't know if the issue is specific to base game or if it extends to PL endings too. Kindly look into it? Thankss
Hey, so here's the thing - you're right, it doesn't work. But when I did some tests it also didn't work for me without any mods. No matter English or Japanese version. I guess it might be some new bug introduced with 2.11? It'd be great to hear from others to confirm or deny it with both mod installed and not.
OK, did some more tests on older saves and... it works. Which means saves can somehow become corrupted and lip sync stops working. No clue what's causing that, but like I said, the mod and lip sync works.
This is a known bug even in vanilla Cyberpunk, many people including myself noticed that the lip-sync during the third person ending cutscenes doesn't work if you completed 'The Killing Moon' beforehand.
Fantastic mod! Really made my corpo run feel as formal as I wanted it to. The timing for the voice lines is flawless, and at no point is my immersion broken. Thank you so much!
Hi, any way to make it work for another game location?
On an old mod (discontinued), I was able to make it work for French game by unbundle it with wolvenkit cli, changing the region "en-us" to "fr-fr" then pack it. Tried on your one, without success ^^
Yeah, the method like the one you tried is definitely not gonna work with this one. It's because both effort sounds/grunts and dialogue length files are replacing English version only. And because I know how long it took me to actually replace all that, I'm not gonna do any other language compatibility. So yeah, there is a way, but not a simple one.
The goal of this mod was to make V speak Japanese. Possession scenes included. Johnny speaking Japanese is an unfortunate side effect since voice lines are mixed together.
Great mod, its a refresher after playing with the og eng v for so long and fits a japanese character playstyle. Just wondering if this mod needs to be updated for 2.12 or is good as is? Also, i find that volume on this is a lil quiet, making it slightly louder would be nice but fine where it's at atm.
It looks like there's no need to update it since I didn't notice the usual bug related to newest patches (missing sound effects). That being said I might upload a new version for 2.12 with repacked SFX just in case, but yeah, I don't think it'll be necessary to download.
To be honest, I was always exporting it the same way, I simply select the lines I need, right click and 'Add selected items to project'. I don't remember it ever crashing, so I can only offer some ideas. If it crashes when you want to export all the lines at once, try to do smaller amounts. Also I'd try other (maybe nightly) builds of WolvenKit (as long as it was released after current patch) to see if the problem is still there.

Thanks s0de for putting this together. Any plans for doing this with other languages?

Cosmopolitan night city jap V voice is like this, but dialogue length isn't adjusted like this mod.
