I find it hilarious that people call FXAA blurry and rubbish when TAA is so shitty and ugly you could just smear vaseline on your monitor and achieve the same effect.
Well, that's what most Anti-Aliasing does (not MSAA) I wish there was a better way for games in general but that's someone else's job (devs) If you can run DLAA and have a NVidia GPU then that's probably the best bet. DLAA is one of the better ones imo and its already an option in game.
for what its worth the CA and sharpen filter(luma sharpening causes more aliasing depending on how aggressive settings are) there are better sharpen filters, and the games own CA plays nice with its other shaders/ui/transparent texture/effects vs injecting it in at the wrong place. Using driver fxaa/smaa is better then that as its only detecting line edges not bluring every pixel games TAA does a better job at edge detection and helps with motion related aliasing. Curious what resolution your playing at , i have used gaus blur before and i do agree in small values it can help smooth out the image. This is called constructive criticism i pointed out the negative parts and also parts i would go about another way or postive usage ive had from some of the effects. Me i use nvidia overlay with sharpen+(15/20% , i perfer this as it looks similar to martys shader) filter turned on and find thats often one of the best without causing more aliasing or shimmering martymcfly has a sharpen shader i would suggest but i do not know if its free or part of his pateron. But this is your flavor of what looks good to you and what you like to play with everyone is different also my opinion just using intel xess ultra quality gives as good if not similar to nvidia dlss in terms of aliasing and not hurting the rest of the image quality from the upscale were not talking fsr here LOL. Also you can save your preset on reshade give it a name and just take that preset file upload that and with reshade it will pull every shader down from the github on reshade install and then copy your preset values
