all i wanna be able to do is throw a knife and then have the game instantly switch to the next knife i have equipped. Ive got all 3 slots filled with a knife.. should be able to throw all 3 in quick succession
Yeah, I've been thinking this. It would be nice to have a belt pouch with a handful of throwing knives. It seems a waste of a weapon slot to just use a single knife, when there are so many fantastic guns in the game as well. Or maybe a 4th slot for a melee weapon. That would be a good compromise.
Did you ever find a mod to do this? I'd love this too. This mod works great, but makes throwing knives a bit too OP for my tastes. I just want the game to auto equip the next knife that's ready (if there is one) right when I throw.
Don't mind the recovery circle, it doesn't affect the mod. Left it enabled/visible so that the mod is compatible with other mods like Persistent Throwable Weapons and so that the knives/weapons don't disappear after being thrown. They will disappear after the recovery cooldown or after picking them up if you don't use the Persistent Throwable Weapons mod, just like the vanilla game.
I'm still playing patch 2.13 at the moment because I want to make sure that the mods I'm using work with the new patch first Does the mod also work with the latest patch 2.2?
It works great as of 06/06/24. I'm disabling it though as it trivializes fights, throwing is already killing things in 1-2 shots add in rapid fire and its kinda overkill.
