I tried so hard to get this mod working. I did a full playthrough with GITS2.8 before it was made hidden and loved it, was really looking forward to more of oyur work. I cannot figure out what could be conflicting? I have 0 active weather mods aside from weathermancer (doesnt edit weather at all), nothing that would effect lighting or anything. I fully uninstalled GITS. The *only* possible conflict I can think of would be Ultra Plus? But it worked with GITS flawlessly :'(
Ive literally tried all 3 versions youve got here, manual installs, vortex (against your wishes i know) installs, and nothing. Short of removing all my mods, Im not really sure what to do :(
Dredd, though, that one works perfectly for me so Imma go with that for now. Any insight would be great though as I really want to do a playthru with Elysium- or any further info you need from me, im happy to try to get for you!
I love the look and the idea, but is it just me or does it become a bit to bland? idk, maybe its just me, but if the colors were a bit more colorful it would be great. The movie has more colorful colors.
I was digging GITS, but I'm really liking the looks of this even moreso.
Quick question for the literati out there - I have GITS installed (older version) and did NOT use VORTEX - just straight copy, as recommended. Will ELYSIUM overwrite the GITS files, or do I need to try to figure out what GITS did, undo it, and then install ELYSIUM? I'd prefer to avoid a reinstall, obviously, and I unfortunately had deleted the GITS compressed file after installing it, so I can't go back to the manifest to see what it changed.
It's one or the other. Mods that edit lighting, weather, exposure & eye adaptation, vignette, sharpening, etc. are entirely incompatible with one another. They'll not overwrite, but instead they will conflict. You will have to go into the archive/pc/mod folder and removed GITS manually if you want to use this.
GITS edited all of the above, and more, depending on which version you installed. ELYSIUM largely leaves most of this untouched aside from probably favoring low humidity weather types and color grading.
This is peak Cyberpunk modding—really impressive stuff. I have played around with different LUTS and such, but you really nail the look of the source material you're targeting.
I look forward to whatever you cook up next, and best of luck getting GITS back online; it will be worth the wait.
No. If I wanted reshade I would make a preset, there's really no point when I can make a mod that revises visuals in several manners precisely to my liking, and with no performance impact or conflicts with frame generation. I may do an immersive edition of this that incorporates advanced fx for RT like I did GITS after I get that mod working.

Anyway good luck fixing the bugs, hopefully you can get a new version out soon. GITS looks amazing.
