Thank you skaters122 for sharing your work! The B&W Valentino sleeves looked great on my street V.
One thing I will note though is that since both arms use a single arm texture the design is mirrored. In pattern only designs that is generally not an issue, but in this case that means that the phrase tattooed on the forearms "All in the game" can only be read properly on one of the arms. This is not necessarily a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind. If you are using a mod to change your left arm into full cyberware this shouldn't be an issue at all.
Also, to be very specific about the install directions: Only place the .archive file into the 'patch' folder (which you can make if it does not already exist). So in the case of the "V's Sleeves - Valentino's (Black and white) -NoHands" that I tested, it should look like.... \Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\patch\basegame_mod_graynohands.archive
Maybe I do not know enough about modding, but I tried both version of the colourful tattoos (with and without hands) via Vortex and they did not work, didn't show, so now I'm trying to go manual and I want to know if I drop the extracted file of the download or if I leave it as it is... Also had to create a patch folder in my game, so maybe I'm missing something?
Hi, I cannot comment on the vortex functionality, but if you put the files in your patch folder (Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\patch) then it should appear in game. make sure you put the files into the patch folder, and not a folder into patch.
That’s been my goal since I opened the files, but I really cannot give a rough time frame on that., The way the textures are mapped out with the body tattoos are quite weird, different from regular NPC body textures, and are even seemingly different from one another, somehow. So getting them to fit together is going to take a lot of messing around but I am trying to chip away at it so fingers crossed!
Dude I actually started my character over because I was using a body tattoo that blending with this tat. I must say though it looks great and I have an enhanced color with the game now which just makes the tattoo pop. Loving it pal thanks for your hard work on it. You people are making the creators look so stupid and weak because you seem to be make way better progress with this game than they are. Haha so funny so funny.
Hey, thanks for the kind words, glad you like it! I was really disappointed with the vanilla tattoo options, such a shame! considering the tattoo's I've applied were actually in the same folder as the regular player tattoo's hmmmm
Hey man, this looks absolutely great, definitely no worries on the res front (personally if they're too crisp they don't look so real to me, tattoos age and bleed a little under the skin after all). I tried to unpack them so i could dial the darkness / transparency down just a tad to, again, look a bit more in the skin, but for some reason i can't load the dds files. I use GIMP which opens the vanilla files fine normally. Am i being dim or is this an issue with editing mods do you know?
Thanks! Yeah I totally get what you mean, I can upload the source files if you'd like to try and make some modifications, gimp should be able to open the dds so I have no clue why it isn't working, I do use PS though, but used gimp for the longest time
Hey, thank you! It's actually on the to do list, it's just a bit more difficult since the textures are mapped out to be part of a full body suit, but I have been chipping away at it; keep any eye out
Hey, it's on the list, it's just tricky to get looking good since those tattoo's are meant to be a full body suit, but its coming at some point, sorry I don't have a timeframe!
