I'm getting compilation errors, corrupted scripts, my game won't start, my game crashes... This is a user side error unrelated to the mod. Follow the general troubleshooting instructions for any mod: — Read error message carefully and follow the instructions — Check r6/logs/redscript_rCURRENT.log for additional information — Read redscript comments for most common issues and fixes — Do a clean install of the mod, i.e. uninstall the previous version of the mod before installing the new one — Update the game to the required version
psiberx I saw that this mod no longer works for me... The game is updated to 2.12 (GOG platform + PL), and all the mods are also updated (also CET and redscript), I tried to unistall this mod and install it again but it still doesn't work. I also checked the file "redscript_rCURRENT.log" but I don't seem to see any errors, in this file list there is the entry "RipperDeck\RipperDeck.reds"... I don't understand why it doesn't work anymore or what I'm doing wrong... someone can you help me? Thanks!
Sorry to hear that, but I don't know what could be causing this other than the mod not being installed at all. I tested it just recently, it still works.
This mod works with the game 2.12x. However it may be confusing for older generation users as it's neatly and seamlessly integrated with the Cyberware menu so there is no need to look for the no longer existing special HUB menu button.
Just go to the Cyberware menu and use it The buttons there are active with this mod - you can use them to equip/unequip cyberware like weapons in the Inventory menu.
Hmmm... I cannot install Cyberware with this. It only removed the warning to visit a ripper doc. It could be a conflict, but I don't get any compiler warnings, nor any error log. Also, with Cyberware-Ex basic version, additional slots get unequipped sometimes. For example, during the Firestarter quest. But it seems to happen for other people under different circumstances, too, according to the comments there.
This game can simply unequip any cyberware for no reason. Just removed vital one during engame. I wonder why it's not fixed yet. Anyways, your mod is very helpful with that
Yeah, the Blood Pump bug is near game-breaking. I was using another mod that "fixed" that bug, but for some reason it seems to have stopped being as effective. I don't mind going to rippers for normal gameplay, but I have no qualms about including this mod to use solely for the purpose of a work-around for that bug.
Exactly my thoughts. I installed this and now I can just put it back again when I miss my stuff uninstalled. Also, why the game never had a fix for that after months is beyond me. Its either really rooted, or mods are helping doing it (even though I saw complaints from people with not a single mod in their first play-through)
I can confirm it, and it has been happening probably since 2.0. During Firestarter, if choosing So Mi, the Cyberware won't unequip. But if choosing Reed, all Cyberware slots added by perks will unequip, including the vanilla perk slots. It's annoying. It needs to be fixed by some mod since CDPR never tried to fix it.
It happens with Cyberware-Ex and also when you choose Songbird at the stadium. However, for me, it didn't unequip everything and perks were left untouched. But all additional slots added by Cyberware-Ex were empty at some point after or before the quest related choice. I was thinking it might have to do with the faceplate cyberware, when it was activated by the game? I didn't have RipperDeck installed at that moment. I just came here to install it, so I could re-install the unequipped cyberware, but while I can upgrade cyberware now, I still cannot equip cyberware. The only thing from this mod, that is still working, is that it removed the notification about having to visit a ripper doc to change cyberware.
So, psiberx mentioned recently, that the mod would be working fine. So it might be related to some mod conflict. But the fact, that cyberware keeps getting unequipped by the game it also mentioned multiple times in the Cyberware-Ex comments. Something is definitely off here.
this mod is amazing. i love that you can just chip in stuffs on your own. helps with managing cyberware especially with wannabe edgerunner on. i got a problem tho. im not sure which of these mods conflict with this mod because i suddenly lost the ability to chip in without good ole vik...
Same. As per my response below to KirkH420, no interactivity in personal cyberware screen (with either 2.11 or 2.12). Worked fine back in October last year along with more or less the same set of mods, now updated to current and all working, so no idea what's going on. I will try a bisection process when I can muster up the energy and report back if I find anything.
Yep, it works - bizarrely, after shuffling (by prefixing archive mods) the order of a few unrelated archive mods around in order to get another mod working (can't even remember which ones unfortunately, the one I was trying to get working was the fp/tp jiggly physics mod :) ), and trying out some lighting mods (which almost certainly won't be related, but you never know), something I did amongst those actions seems to have made whatever was interfering with this mod stop interfering with it.
Edit: Used to be that there was an actual ripperdock button in the hub, but seems you just click cyberware and it works like that now, I didn't realize that, so I guess it's actually working.
Holy shit. Thank you for this mod! For some reason, the game suddenly removed my smart link cyberware during one of the end game missions in Phantom Liberty, and I couldn't keep my overclock going because enemies would spawn in small numbers. Tested the mod, and it's working.
thanks for this! my blood pump keeps getting uninstalled randomly so being able to put it back without seeing a ripperdoc is essential when you're mid mission.

Thanks for your mod if I haven't said it already
1) You don't have the mod.
2) Redscript compiler doesn't run on game launch.
