Is Phantom Liberty needed? I downloaded the Hair Down version and neither the hair (character instead has a buzzcut) nor the hair color is showing up?

Could you check with a different hair color? I mightve overlooked one thing which would cause only the first color not to show up.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I already did before commenting, lol. Every color was still vanilla. I also double checked the file location to make sure I placed them properly (I always manual install). That's why I asked if PL was needed, because I haven't gotten the DLC yet. I would show pics, but Nexus' image upload process is super weird. Don't know why we can't just post images in comments the same way we upload images on our profiles.

What i'm looking for is, does the hair mesh work properly when a hair color that's not the first one is selected? Or is it a buzzcut for all hair colors?

I checked it and it was as you suspected. The hair is only a buzzcut when the first color is selected. The hair shows up with the other colors.

I'm having endless loading screen in the appearance menu after confirming using Songbird hair 47. Is there a reason for this to happen?

I'm kinda curious but why not use the right/fitting shadow.mesh when it is already in the game files?

Not sure if it is all but 47 uses the shadow.mesh for (I think) V's default hair. And there is one more fitting in the ep1 files (ep1\characters\common\hair\shadow_meshes\hh_125_wa_songbird_back_full_shadow_npc.mesh). Works fine. I switched them out for my own use. I was just curious if there was a reason for it and though I ask/mention it. The mod is great otherwise! Love the hair. <3

Sorry. English is not my native language. What does Cap mean in the alternative file? I thought cap mean the hair came with a hat? but apparently its not?

'Cap' in the context of hair refers to the texture displayed on a simple mesh, which is the shaved part of the hair. Also used in long hair to prevent the head mesh from being visible through hair strands, which would look like V is balding. Check Anruis Hair Caps mod.

is it possible to add the messy hairstyle from your other version with the cyberware to this?

The problem with that is that it lacks cards in the back, as it is not intended to use without the cyberware. I do plan to create those one day, can't give an eta tho.

Have tried to install the mods now after the 2.02 update, the hair don't show up in the ripperdoc or the mirror appearance edit. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I tried to add them via. the mods folder in steam/steamapps/common/Cyberpunk2077/mods and via. steam/steamapps/common/Cyberpunk2077/archive/pc/mods (which I had to add myself) and neither have shown the hairstyles in the game.
What am I doing wrong? Or is this a conflict with the updates?

How are they not showing up? Still vanilla, or bald? If vanilla, make sure to install correctly (unzip and put in right folder). There shouldnt be any conflicts with 2.02

Hi, Awesome mod! Really enjoying the alt hair. Is there a possibility you can do another version of the alt hair where you keep the back of head same as the hair down version?

Can someone help? I might be dumb, I installed the mod, and when I go to a ripper to change my appearence, I don't see the new styles, on slots 46-50 it's some shitty buzz cut instead?? Why is that? I installed them as instrucedd but still, pretty weird.

also what does CC options mean?

CC options means Character Creator. Did you unzip the archives before installing?

Yes, I tried unzipping it into the main game and also tried using the Vortex download Manager, it shows them as enabled, but instead I get these at CC:

Nevermind, I looked again and looks like Vortex replaced the entire archive folder or something when I installed another mod, weird, but adding it manually again fixed it, thank you!

Well, that just means it's not installed properly. Download the file. Unzip it using winrar or 7zip. You'll get a folder. Inside of it, there will be multiple more folders and finally a .archive file. Put the .archive file in archive/pc/mod folder in your game directory.

    Awesome hair, great work !
Quick question tho : really like the long version, but the cap stays with default color (black). Looked at Anrui's haird caps but that's not it.

Any idea how did Zwei change it to match hair color in 3rd pic ?

Anyway, thx for the mod !

Which hair color(s) did you use/try? Is the cap black for all of them, or just some?

I’m using a custom color but the cap stays black/brown no matter which I use.
is it working with some of them ?

Most hair color mods will not adjust the short cards color afaik, not sure. Does the cap color change when you use vanilla colors? Could you provide an image of the black cap?

My bad, it actually changes color, just checked the custom one I want, and the default and cap is black.
But on most other colors, it changes the cap color as well.

Sorry for the unnecessary post and thx for the replies !
