This is an immense improvement. I kept just feeling so limited in my vision, in dark areas I just felt like nothing helped. Then one day I looked at the red sky and saw the dark blotching on the edge and I thought it was the viewing angle of my LED tv. I thought wow that's terrible I've never noticed that... And then I alt tabbed out. Nope, it's the game, I said.
Man after seeing it disabled, I can not for the life of me imagine who on their team thought this was superior. It just gives you tunnel vision. It's absolutely horrible. It's not even a little bit OK. Anything you aren't directly looking out is totally obscured.
It's mind blowing. I ask again, who OK'd this...
Thank you so much for fixing this, man. I was seriously getting annoyed by that crappy senseless effect.
Hi. Thanks for this great Mod. The modification works for me and the effect with the black frame is gone (this is very annoying with my resolution of 1920x1080). However, I have noticed that this effect of the modification is sometimes gone and the picture is now completely darker when you tilt ... and after a while the modification works again as intended and the effect is gone again. I'm not sure, but could it be that this has something to do with the different weather situations? That's how it seems to me.
Thanks for your answer. I use your mod together with the mod “Crouch vignette effect remover”, otherwise no other mods at all. I'll keep an eye on it, maybe it's because I'm playing without raytracing (or maybe I'm mixing it up and it's a completely different effect - since the entire image is darkened).
Is your modification a pure, existing, configuration file that is temporarily overwritten? I'm asking because I wanted to remove it for testing and wanted to know if this is possible without damaging the savegame.
Hello, it's me again. I'm almost embarrassed but I completely missed the note from you: “Fixed not working in Phantom Liberty” Does this mean that this modification has no effect (in the complete game) if you have installed the extension? I have installed the Basegaame+Phantom Liberty. Sorry.
Hi, thanks for this mod. I dezipped the 3 files containing the archive folder in the game's source folder, the path is good, it does nothing at all... :/
Thank you sooo much! This is a game changer for me. The only vignette remover mod I tried that actually works, and also the sharpening filter remover is fantastic. Works on 2.2, and with Nova LUT too. Thank you.
