reLIGHT implemented. Check the description for images. Otherwise you won't even bother reading it and will ask questions you already have the answers to here - and then I'll ban you.
ARCHIVE XL is a hard requirement as of 3.X.
A bug due to enhanced fast travel points is currently impacting their use, please use the "fast ravel fixer" until I've solved the issue if you like pretending Night City is Starfield.
As of 3.X; I've ceased support for SHOWA and KURIA AIO/ENV - The FUJI ENV and both LUTs are still there, they're practically identical. Use them instead.
IF you're using imported vehicle models; you may want to use the optional file "01 FUJI ENV BASIC" then install any extended VFX you want such as reFLASH, reMEDIA, etc. I will look into patching these aberrations myself.
Don't delete reLIGHT.ini, regardless of what some idiot on discord or Nexus tells you. Including other mod authors - Nvidia RIS is bugged when Path Tracing is active atm, so I've disabled it to remove such visual infringement. If objects in shadow glowing doesn't bother you, be my guest. CDPR has confirmed they're looking into it.
If you encounter an issue - Report it in the BUGS section.
GITS uses it's own branch of Improved (or is it) Rain. Sosuine's standalone (new) mod is not compatible with GITS. If you use it and the rain is glowing - It's not a bug, it's your own negligence. Read the description.
Hello. Hope your fine and thank you for what you're doing for the CP77 community! First, I want to tell you that I saw your images and your readme. I just want to be sure that I have understand it correctly.
So, reLight, Perfect (or is it) Rain Effect, reGLASS, reMEDIA, reLIGHT FIXES are mods included on your mod right? Also, I just need to download the main file named "00 GITS LEGACY" to have exactly what you show on the images right? Do I need "02 (Less) Perfect Rain" and "02 LEGACY LUT"?
Like I said, I would like to have like you have on your images. Thank you! <3
The two main files are the AIO options. If you want Legacy or Fuji, choose one and install. The two main files have everything included.
1) If you wanted to use Showa/Kuria OR wanted to choose only certain modules, you assemble from the optionals. 2) Your choice of 00 FUJI ENV or 01 FUJI ENV BASIC are the bedrock for this assembly. If you only wanted reLIGHT, better rain, and metro glass, go with 01. 3) 02 (Less) Perfect rain is a performance variation of the rain. Less visual glitches, better performance, but not the best the rain can look. 4) The different LUTs are your choice to pair with the earlier ENV. The showa/kuria LUTs match very well with the Fuji ENV (there was not much difference in the previous ENV versions). Legacy ENV as standalone is currently not available.
If you assemble only from the optionals, you approach nowhere near the 170MB of the AIO option, so I'm only left to assume you should overwrite the AIO with the optionals by giving them higher priority, yes? I don't understand where are all those megabytes are going if you only choose optionals...
do forgive me, but i read the description page twice, despite all the snarkiness "reading is hard so i'll write the info at the bottom", and sorry but installation guideline like "to install, simply unpack the zips to mods folder, to uninstall, delete them" is not enough when this mod has quite several installation zips.
for the main file i understand i should choose between "legacy" and "fuji" even though i do not want any of these two colours. already the names alone are misleading tbh, cause it's not "main file + colour grading" but "main file with colour grading and then another colour grading on top of it if you don't want the one fromt he main file". which certainly will produce some obsolete files (from the unused lut), but regardless, this is actually written nowhere at the description page what to do to install "kuria" version or what other version.
so which main file do i choose? what is the difference between them? or for me, who wants to use kuria, there is no difference? i only know i should choose "fuji or basic" from the reply to the comment above, not from the mod description :/
then, what does this even mean - "Replaces the high quality GITS rain with a better than vanilla but less impactful (and less bugged) version" - this comment together with the uploaded optional rain mod file is from 1.5 year ago - is the MAIN file rain still buggy?
then the sticky post says "kuria" and "showa" are not supported. does that mean i shouldn't download them cause they're broken in 2.0 patch?
"ceased support for SHOWA and KURIA AIO/ENV - The FUJI ENV and both LUTs are still there, they're practically identical" - does this mean that fuji is "practically identical" to showa, showa and kuria? or what is identical to what? there are 5 subjects there (showa, kuria, fuji and 2 luts) so which is "practically identical" to which? in the photos kuria does not look "practically identical" to fuji nor to showa, in fact it looks much different than showa. this comment is very confusing.
so which luts are still working? is kuria working? can it be safely downloaded and used despite author saying to use something else?
neither of installations descriptions above even mention the hotfix file, and its description also does not mention whether it is mandatory for this mod to work or not. judging from the two installation descriptions above (sadly, not from the mod description), in order for this mod to work one could/should install: 1 - a main file (one, not two. also not written) 2 - optionally less buggy rain 3 - optionally different lut and from the main mod description also: 4 - optionally travel point fix. and the hotfix remains unmentioned so i guess can be ignored...
It's typical for mod authors to communicate this way, even though their technical writing skills aren't very good, thus unclear communication and issues that modders run into. Understandable as it's a lot of work, and technical writing is actually very difficult. Over the years I've learned to take the snarkiness with a grain of salt. The attitude annoys me, but the commenters become the unsung heroes to help fill in the gaps.
To all those who no longer have the fast travel points on the map, you only need to do this: I found a solution which is to place the loading order of the fix before the GITS file.
For do it you can use Red4_conflict.exe or ad #### in front of the fix file. So that the fix is placed in front of your GITS file in your folder.
to those wishing to get all the cool visual effects of this mod without any env/lighting changes, get the gits legacy aio, open it in wolven kit and delete the "weather" folders in both base and ep1. this is true vanilla plus.
You are a lifesaver! Your solution has fixed all the extreme exposure issues that I've had! For anyone wondering how to edit the mod with wolven kit - check the quick tutorial here https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/10928323-how-to-edit-any-archive-mod-with-wolvenkit/
if im correct are you talking about when the exposure goes belly-up for a moment when exiting a tunnel or a building? if it is, I haven't looked into it but it should be something under the fx folder or maybe the worlds folder? look around. from my extremely limited knowledge, perhaps that exposure thing would be a .xbm, don't take my word for it though. It doesn't really bother me so I won't get rid of it. gits legacy/fuji looked cinematic and all but for someone playing on sdr raster it just didn't look pleasant at day time.
Nah, I talk about the situation when you close the map interface, the whole world gets reloaded a bit and after playing for some time you get some serious flashes of white that last for like 10 seconds and slowly dissipate
ah I think I know what you're talking about? happens to me when I skip time, only sometimes though. it might be a bug with the rain mod, I'm really not sure. you have removed the luts and envs yes?
I removed only weather folders from the AIO Legacy mod. As for the brightness bug, someone has posted it in the bugs section as well and here's also a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uVm2OiWmxA
On this video u see everything going super-dark after "map exit" but when u do it during the daytime u can get super-bright effect
I was also having issues with overly bright exposure/washed out colors, especially in the badlands. It seemed as if the LUT was being ignored in some areas as changing between FUJI, SHOWA and RealColorr III made little to no difference.
After trying to narrow things down to specific files, I noticed that just rebuilding GITS LEGACY in Wolvenkit (copying everything over to a new mod project) seemed to fix this.
Did this and fixed the washed out color, Thank you so much!!
However, I dunno what happened but my VRAM usage lowered after using this mod. Previously, with Nova LUT Supernova alone, my vram is around 10 gb (with RT and Ultra settings) , but now with this mod, its only 9 gb. Does that mean that somethings wrong?, like the NOVA LUT is not working anymore?
I decided to use this mod for the reLight since I noticed that NOVA LUT Supernova with RT is making everything inside house/buildings/cars at night Dark, like I cant see anything.
The mod is really cool and I enjoy it a lot but I seem to have issues in bright locations. Everything was more or less good until I went into the oilfields and there... Is there any way to fix this?

I'm using the Legacy AIO.
Edit : I installed the hotfix file and it seems to be working. Apologies!

P.S. I have HDR disabled
It really helped me
