Using movements controls for dialogues is a good idea, witcher 3 and starfield have it, haven't they?The prb is it moves our character during dialogues, it should only freezes our character movment during dialogues
The big difference you're ignoring in those games, you're completely stationary during dialogue. In this game, you can move around as you want during dialogue, so it's a bad conflict.
Or better yet give us the ability to move our character during dialogue and keep movement keys seperate completely, like some Starfield mods allow. Far superior, very immersive being able to move during dialoge.
I'd like to look at a picture of the dev who took this decision, while he was telling to his colleagues what was the next implementation to add for the next patch...
I f*#@ing loathed this change. On my new game after 2.0 I had to reload so many god damned times because the movement keys made me accidentally pick the wrong dialogue options.

Fantastic that you've included your changes to the xml file. Too many great mods use inputUserMappings.xml and options.json and fail to document their changes so compatibility can be done easily! Love it <3
