The load order matters if you have one of the plugins. I had the BW plugin and it was below the main file and I got green tint and vignette, no bw. When I made sure that the BW plugin was on top in the load order it worked fine. So just rename the files like ##(bw file name here).archive and then #(main file name here). archive so therefore bw plugin loads BEFORE the main file and it works as intended. Great mod makes a huge difference for the better esp cuz you use it more than anything in the game almost.
Woohoo still working preem, with game Patch 2.21, hella nice!! \o/ ♥
Still my fav scanner mod, always has been!! :) Again, THANK YOUCyanideX for this must have essential mod!! ♥

You know what, it could be badass if someone was able to make a version of the Monochrome shader that brings back (and enhances/oversaturates) color saturation based on danger levels, like base monochrome for when you're sleuthing around (using the scanner outside of a hostile/restricted area), monochrome + blues when you skulk your way into a hostile area, add in yellow/green when enemies are on alert, but you remain undetected, and finally add back in reds when you've been detected (optionally bursting red-tint on near-miss attacks).
I know this probs isn't gonna go anywhere, I just thought it was a cool idea & wanted to share without it feeling like someone going "modder, make me a sandwich."
4k version of ^ Is pure working properly for you? after updating to 2.2 and downloading the newest version to fix the twintone bug (WHICH IT DID! THANKS!) it seems to not be working fully.
green tint, pixel effect & vignette are not present (as expected) but the HUD itself has elements of preem scanner instead of pure?! (meaning it has zoom indicators & a small dot instead of having just the square... )
I also removed all my 300 .archive mods except pure scanner to test and it still has the same issue. Mind checking for me?
Edit: Oh, you mean you want the original Pure element? I did make some changes but didn't think people would mind. I can make a classic version if you prefer the old look.
I know its a relatively small nitpick for a fully functional mod with tons of options but my eyes have been so used to the clean simple look that I rather go back to it.
So yeah it would be awesome to get an optional classic pure look file! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: Just tried Nova Scanner which I didn't know existed & was also made by you. It does everything I want and works well.
Thanks alot @theCyanideX. Your mods have truly overhauled my game and gave it a breath of fresh air. <3
Hey bud, I honestly don't know if I'm asking the right person about this, but I might be, and you will know for sure, so please bear with me if this is kinda dumb or simply isn't something you have any control over.
In old videos and screenshots of the game, when the scanner is active there is a falling / cascading effect on targetable objects that sort of looks like if the Matrix code was made out of green Tylenols. I have never once seen that visual effect in any version of the game I have played. This mod, along with several of your other Preem suite of mods, is one of the very first mods I ever installed before I even made it out of the tutorial mission. When I disable this mod, and all other mods that affect the scanner or any other visual overlay effects (I'm using MO2 with Root Builder, so I can easily do this with just a few clicks), I still don't see them. I recently did a full reinstall and rebuild of my entire mod list after 2.2 dropped (500+ mods!), and even in a brand new fresh build, they aren't there.
I happen to think they look cool in a retro-futuristic sort of way, and they're also very visually striking, so I'm thinking that they would make it much easier for me to see and click on hackable world objects when I'm rapidly toggling the scanner on and off in a frenetic firefight. My question for you is twofold: did your scanner mods ever touch this visual effect, and if CDPR took it out at some point, are you able to restore it, or tell me what file I need to track down to do that myself?
Thank you for your time, I hope I'm not wasting it.
I don’t touch the highlight effect and I believe the only mod that could remove those would be Limited HUD. Still, I don’t know the exact effect you’re referring to. Can you share an image?
Hey Cyanide!! Love all of your mods dearly, I know you mentioned this mod includes some lightening to make things easier to see so Is this a good substitute for the Kiroshi Nightvision mod? I tried running them both together but it causes a CTD on starting the game with it so I did away with the nightvision since I could just use the scanner.
I use scanner and Night Vision mod without crashing so you may need to look into what else is causing the conflict. I also highly recommend the Simple Flashlight mod.
Hey! Great mod. Could you make an option without "No Line Effect Removal"? No horizontal background lines when the scanner is activated. all the other options have those lines Thanks!
don't know if this was intentional or not but the "pure" option completely removes the ability to see the hacking tab to the right of the data tab when I'm quickscanning an enemy. Cheers and thanks for the mod.

No Tint or Pixels
(but keep Vignette)
but I will take "Preem HUD" if you only have time for one of them
To be transparent on which option I was looking for but couldn't find, it was this:
Green Tint: Removed.
Vignette: Included.
Pixel Effect: Removed.
New HUD: Included.

I've never seen it in my game either. Any chance we can get it back?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out
Thanks!
