The load order matters if you have one of the plugins. I had the BW plugin and it was below the main file and I got green tint and vignette, no bw. When I made sure that the BW plugin was on top in the load order it worked fine. So just rename the files like ##(bw file name here).archive and then #(main file name here). archive so therefore bw plugin loads BEFORE the main file and it works as intended. Great mod makes a huge difference for the better esp cuz you use it more than anything in the game almost.
Thank you SOOO much for this. That strong green tint has been driving me insane for so long. I wish I had stumbled on this earlier. Would have made things so much easier for me and my vision issues.
CDPR really needed to make menu config options for controlling the amount of tint honestly. I don't mind some color tint but the default is too strong for me and the worst color for my eyes. Oh well.
I am not sure how difficult the color mods you've been making are to implement, but it would be cool to be able to have adjustable tint colors and intensities. Probably just a pipedream idea but something that crossed my mind as part of me would love to be able to match a weak tint overlay color with my Kiroshi optics iris color for RP.
But yeah again thank you so much for the pure clean version of your mod and saving my eyes!!!!
Hi community, I use this mod and it works great. I wanted to ask what the mod actually adds or removes.
I use the Preem Scanner Pure - and when I'm scanning the game has the lighting and effects that I would expect, but when I stop scanning the display gets much darker.
I'm trying to figure out why this is so that I can change the settings to make my game look like that all of the time. Any help or information would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I'm having the same issue. It really makes kiroshi night optics redundant lol Not sure what the issue is but I switched back to the first preem scanner mod and I'm enjoying it
I just did a complete/fresh reinstall (Steam) of my game (nuked all associated old folders+files; fresh re-downloads of all the mods I use; manual installs; no REDmod mods used).
Can confirm this mod (Preem Scanner - Vanilla HUD v1.0.0g) is still working hella preem with 2.12a. ♥
Darn. I can't hide activation icons with this. Well whatever, guess I have to deal with being blinded by shitty visual effects forever.
edit - Happily nevermind! It wasn't this mod, I'm dumb. I'm driving myself crazy trying to get rid of the little blue hand that appears when you mouse over buttons.

T-800 style red scanner is so cool
it makes it easier to see in dark areas which is exactly what I wanted
